1.1720 – 1.1728 = Decision Zone

We are EXACTLY in the zone where liquidity is being swept above the high, which often results in a fakeout.
Watch for:

  1. Candle strength above 1.1728
  2. OR an immediate rejection

R: 1.1720 – 1.1728
S: 1.1694

  1. Above R (close) = CHOCH UP
  2. Rejection = Short back down

This is a clear decision point — the entire intraday direction is being determined right here.
Current Rule (Updated) CHOCH UP (H1)
Applies when:

  1. H1 close ABOVE the entire zone
  2. Ideally above 1.1728

The EUR/USD is trading a few pips above the weekly pivot, showing a strong bounce after a bearish opening gap. Following some bullish price action, the pair is looking to reach the 1.1762 and 1.1782/90 resistance zones, provided the 1.1700 psychological level remains intact. However, a break below this round number will open the way for lower support levels at 1.1680 and the 1.1669 low.

The EUR/USD is trading with a neutral to bearish bias after failing to break above 1.1755 yesterday and dropping toward the 1.1700 psychological level. As long as 1.1755 holds, the pair is expected to trade lower for the remainder of the day, targeting 1.1667 if 1.1700 fails.

For the bulls to regain momentum, they must at least clear the short-term high of 1.1726. Doing so would allow for a push toward or above the 1.1755 resistance level, potentially eyeing 1.1782 and 1.1800.

The EUR/USD has regained some momentum but is mostly trading in a consolidation range between 1.1669 and 1.1755. Should news cause a breakout above this range, 1.1782 and 1.1800 are the immediate upside targets for the pair.

On a larger timeframe (daily), the bearish mode remains intact and a break below 1.1669 should open the door to 1.1600, provided subsequent short-term support levels such as the weekly S1 level at 1.1660 are breached

remain going sideways waiting for a breakout - which should be soon

daily is neutrual leaning towards bearish

Welcome back john! Not doing much either but we are near a break out. Trump is hiding something, fomc and ECB will create the volume and we just need some more patience!

If FOMC sends the dollar below 98.28, that entire "Bulls Run" becomes a false breakout (Fakeout).

The EUR/USD reached a low of 1.1660 just a few pips below the 1.1667 support level before its descent paused. Currently, the pair is trading with a downside bias, suggesting a potential break below 1.1667 toward the 1.1633/40 zone, or lower toward 1.1600. On the upside, resistance at the 1.1700 psychological level and 1.1720 is successfully capping any recovery for now.
