Calling it a day here. To me, the risk doesn’t feel worth taking in the current market conditions. I’ll step back and reassess tomorrow — hopefully better opportunities show up. For now, it’s been a bit slow and uneventful.

Breakeven got triggered.

When I was a new trader, I used to base my decisions purely on charts, without any understanding of macro or geopolitical factors. At that time, trading felt simpler, and I was taking 2–3 trades per day.
Now, with a deeper understanding of market dynamics, including macro and geopolitical influences, trading has become more complex and selective for me. Currently, I take only 2–3 trades per week.
It’s been a significant shift in my approach — focusing more on quality over quantity and managing risk with greater discipline.

Yesterday I took a long trade with a 15-pip stop loss, which got hit. Just an update.

This trade is against the D1 trend, so my stop loss might get hit. I may wait for a clearer picture before taking any further action.

The trade is now secured at breakeven.

EUR has a clear path toward 1.16250. Let’s see how the market develops.

No trades for me today. I overlooked the upcoming FOMC, and with the ECB press conference as well, it’s best to stay on the sidelines and avoid unnecessary exposure. Preserving capital comes first.

There’s something deeply haunting and peaceful about this piece. It feels quiet, almost distant, but at the same time it hits somewhere very personal.
I really connect with darker, more introspective sounds like this… the kind that doesn’t try too hard, yet says everything.

If EUR manages to secure a higher time frame close above the 1.17800 level, it would signal a significant bullish continuation. Such a breakout could act as a strong catalyst, potentially driving the pair further higher toward the 1.20000 region.
From a macro perspective, the outlook remains supportive. While the European Central Bank has kept rates unchanged for now, recent communication and market expectations indicate a growing likelihood of future rate hikes, primarily driven by persistent inflation pressures.
This evolving hawkish bias from the ECB could provide additional upside momentum for the euro in the medium term.

Trade Management Update:
Based on the current market structure, I decided to manually exit the position at my pre-marked trendline level. Price had approached a key resistance area, and considering the recent momentum, I preferred to secure profits rather than hold through potential uncertainty.
The move aligned well with my planned structure, and respecting these levels is a core part of my risk management approach. Instead of aiming for extended targets in a potentially exhausted move, I chose to react to price behavior and lock in gains.
Overall, a disciplined execution—following the plan and respecting key levels without overextending the trade.
