Now price is pulling back
This is the part most people get wrong
They panic on the retrace
or close too early
The plan doesn’t change:
As long as price stays below the highs
the idea is still valid
Protected trade

Started with 3 sells on USDJPY.
Closed two in profit.
Now only one position left — risk already covered.
No stress. No pressure.
Now it’s simple:
Either price breaks lower → I ride it.
Or it comes back → I’m out at BE.
Most traders mess this up.
They go all in, hold everything, and turn winners into losers.
This is the difference:
You don’t need to catch the whole move.
You just need to manage it properly.
Protect first.

CADJPY just hit your sell SL, which from your post was above your sell entry, so I don't see how you can say it was protected...?

While I appreciate your posts, I find the lack of trade details a little disturbing. You sometimes say you have multiple trades on the same pair, yet you don't post the results (prices, pips gained/lost) on each trade. CADCHF a few weeks ago was one example, where it appeared to go straight to your SL...

You are very good talking in general terms, using strong rhetoric, and trying to show how you stand out from the crowd, but I'm yet to be convinced you do.

It might help if you did post those details, the good, the bad & the ugly, and not just the good.

You’re looking at a single position and missing the bigger picture.
I don’t trade one entry — I manage positions.
In this case:
Multiple entries were taken
Partials were already secured
Risk was removed
So yes — one position can hit SL, and the trade is still protected overall.
That’s the difference between entry-based thinking and position management.
Also, if you had been following consistently instead of judging one snapshot, you would’ve seen plenty of live examples — both winners and management in real time.
I’m not here to prove anything or post “perfect trades” after the fact.
I show the process as it happens.
If that’s not your style — that’s completely fine.

USDJPY – how to manage a position
2 lots closed in profit.
Final position still running.
At this point, the trade is fully paid.
No risk. No pressure.
SL moved to 159.21 to lock in profit.
This is where most traders fail.
They either:
Close everything too early
Or panic on a small pullback
But this is the real edge:
Scale out → secure profit → let the runner do the work
Now it’s simple:
Either price continues → we get paid more
Or it comes back → we still walk away with profit
That’s what controlled trading looks like.

I see the idea, but for me there’s no clear sell-side sweep yet.
Price is still trending down with clean continuation, not a displacement + rejection.
Right now it looks more like sellers are in control, not a liquidity grab.
For me to consider a reversal I’d need to see:

  1. a clear sweep below the lows
  2. fast reclaim back above
  3. or a shift in structure (CHOCH)

Until then, I’d treat this as continuation and look for sells on pullbacks rather than trying to catch the bottom.

USDJPY is Consolidating between 159.7 - 158.7 i'm looking for a bounce from the bottom of the range to bullish upside
Support at 158.7 is respected - This support has been tested twice so if it breaks on the third test this setup is invalidated.
waiting for change in structure before entry
additionally USDJPY is bullish as were moving from a recent bottom and are in an uptrend

CADJPY — Pullback Short Setup (with confirmation)
The market showed a clear rejection from the highs around 115.60–115.70 and started shifting structure on H1.
This is not a random drop — it’s early signs of distribution.
Bias: Short (with conditions)
Key Zone (Supply):
115.40 – 115.55
This is where we expect price to return before continuation lower.
Entry Options:
1. Aggressive Entry
Sell Limit: 115.45
Stop Loss: 115.75
2. Confirmation Entry (preferred)
Wait for price to reach the zone, then drop to M5:
Look for:

  1. Rejection (wick above the zone)
  2. Lower high formation
  3. Break of a recent low

Enter only after structure confirms weakness.
Targets:
TP1: 115.00
TP2: 114.80
TP3: 114.40
Trade Management:
At TP1:

  1. Close partial (50%)
  2. Move stop to breakeven

Let the rest run.
Important:
Do NOT chase price in the middle.
If price breaks and holds above 115.75 → idea invalid.
Summary:
This is a classic pullback → continuation setup.
Best entries come from patience inside the zone — not before.

CADJPY — Update | Limit Cancelled + New Plan A
The sell limit was cancelled.
Price never came back to the zone — that’s the risk with limit orders.
No chasing.
Wait for confirmation.
What changed?
Instead of trying to catch the top,
we shift to a confirmation-based approach.
The market needs to show weakness first — then we act.
PLAN A — Short with Confirmation (preferred)
Idea:
Pullback into resistance → rejection → continuation lower
Work zone:
115.50 – 115.70
Entry trigger (all 3 required):

  1. Price trades into the zone
  2. Clear rejection (upper wick / weak candle)
  3. Break of the most recent low on M5/M15

Entry only after step 3.
Entry:
Sell at market (not limit)
Stop:
115.75 – 115.85
(above the structure high)
Targets:
TP1: 115.00
TP2: 114.80
TP3: 114.40
Invalidation:
Strong close above 115.80
No short. No fighting the move.
Key takeaway:
Limit orders without confirmation get missed or trapped.
Confirmation gives control.
Wait for the market to show its hand — then execute.

USDJPY — Update on your analysis
That view was valid earlier, but price action since then tells a different story.
The range between 158.7–159.7 did not hold cleanly.
We already saw a strong reaction from the top of the range followed by downside continuation.
This is no longer a clean “bounce from support” scenario.
What changed:

  1. Multiple rejections near 159.7
  2. Weak reaction from 158.7
  3. Structure on lower timeframes shifted bearish before any confirmed bullish break

Key point:
Waiting for a bullish shift was correct —
but that shift never happened.
Instead, price respected supply and continued lower.
About the “third test” idea:
Markets don’t always need a clean third test to break a level.
Often, weakness shows before the level actually gives way.
That’s exactly what happened here.
Current read:
This is no longer a buy-from-support setup.
It’s a transition phase, with increasing pressure from sellers.
Until price reclaims 159.7 with strength,
bullish bias is not confirmed.
Bottom line:
The initial idea was reasonable at the time.
But the current price action invalidates the long scenario.
Adapt to what the market is doing now — not what it was expected to do.

GBPJPY – Sell Plan
Market is sitting inside a strong resistance zone:
215.50 – 216.20
Trend is still bullish, so we don’t rush.
We let price come to us or show weakness.
Option 1 – Pending Sell (Aggressive)
Sell Limit: 216.10
SL: 216.80
TP1: 214.90
TP2: 213.80
TP3: 212.50
This is a reaction play from resistance.
Option 2 – CONFIRMATION ENTRY (Preferred)
Wait for:

  1. Fake breakout above 216 and rejection
    or
  2. Clear break of structure on M15 (lower high + breakdown)

Then enter sell on pullback.
Why this is better:
You trade after liquidity is taken + real sellers step in.
Higher probability, less guessing.
Bottom line:
Yes, the zone is strong.
But patience = better entries.
Don’t be the liquidity.
Be the one who waits for it.

NZDUSD – SELL SETUP
Clean resistance zone: 0.5880–0.5920
Market pulled back into supply → looking for shorts
ENTRY OPTIONS
Option 1 – Pending (aggressive)
Sell Limit 1: 0.5905
Sell Limit 2: 0.5920
SL: 0.5965
TP1: 0.5865
TP2: 0.5830
TP3: 0.5780
Option 2 – CONFIRMATION (preferred)
Wait for price to show weakness:

  1. rejection wick from resistance
  2. bearish engulfing on M15/H1
  3. failure to break 0.5920

Then enter:
Sell below minor structure (~0.5885–0.5890)
SL: above recent high (~0.5925–0.5940)
Same targets:
TP1: 0.5865
TP2: 0.5830
TP3: 0.5780
IMPORTANT
Confirmation is what separates a high-probability trade from a guess.
Pending orders get filled even when the level breaks.
Confirmation shows you that sellers are actually stepping in.
No confirmation = higher risk
With confirmation = controlled entry + better probability
Invalidation:
Strong close above 0.5930–0.5950 → no short
Stay patient. Let the market prove the setup.

No clear trap. No break of structure.
Market still holding bullish momentum.
Decided to close early and protect capital with a small profit.
Better to wait for a clean setup than force a trade.

You’re right — and that’s exactly why execution matters.
Patience without a plan turns into hesitation.
Greed without rules turns into loss.
That’s why every trade needs a predefined exit:
Partial profits, break-even, or a clear invalidation level.
The goal is not to catch every pip —
it’s to manage risk and stay consistent.
Discipline removes emotion from the decision.

Gold (XAUUSD) – What I’m watching
Gold still looks strong overall.
On the higher timeframes the trend is clearly up, and the recent drop feels more like a correction than a real shift.
H4 pulled back nicely and started to stabilize.
On H1 you can already see buyers stepping in again.
For me, it’s a buy-side market — just a matter of getting in at the right place.
Plan 1 – Breakout continuation
I’m looking to catch momentum if price breaks higher:

  1. Buy Stop: 4728
  2. Stop Loss: 4688
  3. Targets: 4780 / 4830 / 4900

If price pushes through that level, it should move clean.
Plan 2 – Pullback entry
If price dips first, I’d rather buy it cheaper:

  1. Buy Limit: 4695 – 4705
  2. Stop Loss: 4660
  3. Targets: 4755 / 4800 / 4870

This would be the more comfortable entry with better risk-reward.
Invalidation
If H1 starts closing below 4660, I’m out of the idea.
That would suggest the structure is weakening.
Bottom line
I’m not interested in selling gold here.
As long as the structure holds, I’ll keep looking for buys only.

Gold is behaving exactly as expected for now.
After the drop, price found support in the 4690–4700 area and started reacting from there.
So far, this looks like a typical pullback structure rather than continuation lower.
The market is currently moving inside a range, with buyers stepping in on dips but still lacking strong momentum to break higher.
As long as price holds above the lows, the idea remains the same:
continuation to the upside is still on the table.
Key levels to watch:
– Support: 4690 zone
– Intraday resistance: 4750–4780
– Main target area: 4800+
No surprises yet — price is respecting the plan.
Waiting for confirmation or continuation before adding more exposure.
