Still targeting 69600 for take profit

Want to see how price action looks on way up there, but looking to short at 69,900 with a stop at 75k and target at 64k

Moving TP and short entry both to 69300.

Many lines in the area, many lines at 70k too. Lot of congestion. Stop and target still the same

Not sure how much movement we'll see over next few days with Easter holiday, but got the orders in just in case

Im pulling the TP and short orders. Been taking a closer look at longer term trendlines, and they look ready to break. I generally dont like entering around a TL unless its in anticipation of a break.

The trend is your friend, but trendlines are not so friendly.

I want to see how it looks before I take profit and definitely before entering.

That red TL might break, but one thing making me think that it will come back down is the green TL below. There's a solid chance we hover around this area for a few days and that green TL gets taken out, but right now it looks like a trade worth staying in.

Setting target higher to 72200. We're in the weekend now, and weekends can be slow and probably will be, but you never know. Sometimes they are not.

Im thinking it'll break that TL above and take out the highs at 71800. It does love to do shit like that, then reverse. Gets the traders looking for a break of trendline and "confirmation" at break of the next low or high (depending which direction we're talking, in this case UP) then it reverses and takes their stops back down to the lows.

We'll see. Weekend trading is extra hard. If it does head up there, I'll be looking to short around 72800 since there is that TL below I mentioned (provided it wasnt taken out beforehand).

Things going smooth for now, still targeting 72,200.

We do have a gap and some TLs below asking to be broken, but I think we'll head to 73k first.

Got an order to short at 72,800. Stop and target in chart. Target is rough estimate for now. Will narrow it down as market unfolds

Looks like another one of those break the trendline and next low (confirmation) setups i was just talking about. Now it should reverse and head back up.

i am moving the short entry a little closer to 72600. No reason to haggle over a couple hundred bitcoin dollars. Want to make sure my order gets filled.

This little pullback has given me chance to fine tune the target and entry a little more.

Both target and short entry to 72200

Moving stop to 67300, locking in at least some profits.

If this latest low today holds, 71k looks like a solid spot to take profits and go short

Well i feel like im just talking to myself in here, and keeping updates as a trade progesses is tiresome.

Just went short. This looks like a bull trap. I see it heading down to highlighted area in chart where many lines line up. I think that will be the bottom for this bear market. Stop is at 76k

76k is a pretty tight stops and im not very encouraged by the price action so far, BUT there are 2 CME gaps below and a bunch of trendlines to break. It definitely looks like bottom forming behavior, but theres usually one last scary drop at the end to take out lows/stops.

I just dont see it not filling those gaps before the final bottom is in, and if those gaps get filled itll probably go on to take out the lows.

btc is going for 76000

I will be waiting there then. Price might already be on the move down though -2k now.

This is long shot, but this Iran situation has the world and markets on edge. One thing bitcoin has never done is take out a previous bear market bottom. Imagine how much liquidity is at that spot (15/16k)?!? A ton Im sure.

Im moving my stop to 73900, risking much less now. Target im setting at 15k, not that I really expect that, but there is a chance we get severe panic. Im watching the drop and looking for signs it'll turn at some point, but I think BTC has very good chance of at least going to 63k.

Again, 15k and below (maybe 8-10k) is highly unlikely, but we get a severe drop in stock market, severe spike in oil, and it could be liquidations galore in bitcoin. It could quickly spiral out of control.

Appreciate the analysis brotha, but please post entry, stop, and target. The point of this thread is to post calls, not just analysis, otherwise we might as well just post in the Bitcoin thread.
