A lot of people think VWAP is just a single line, but when you start stacking:
- Daily + Weekly VWAP
- Add volume context (POC / high volume nodes)
- Wait for confirmation (like your M5/M15 rejection)
…it becomes a completely different tool. That’s where the edge actually comes from.
One thing I’d add from experience — setups like this work best when combined with strict risk control. Most traders find a good system, but still fail because:
- Over-leveraging
- Ignoring drawdown rules
- Forcing trades outside key sessions
That’s actually the bigger issue I’ve seen, especially with guys trying to pass prop firm challenges.
If anyone here is working toward getting funded or scaling, I’ve been documenting a lot of this (VWAP, SMC, risk management, challenge rules, etc.) in one place:
https://forexbroker500.com/quantum-vwap-elite-review-forex-trading-system/
It’s not a broker — more of an education + funded trader path, especially for those trying to stay consistent.
Curious though — have you tested this VWAP setup during high-impact news? That’s usually where most VWAP strategies either shine… or completely fall apart.
