I have been watching all weekend. 66,108.50 sustained is the number I think for up or down. 42-44k handle may be a support.
-66,523 can start it. It could start if the closes are under 66,523

Those job numbers may look good to retailors. Last month was overstated.. It was much worse than what was reported. Wages are not keeping up with inflation. The available wages will have a higher percent spent on fuel. That means less discretionary spending in the U.S. and world economy. That I don't think will be good for equites. I think it will hurt most stocks who rely on consumer spending. We do not have this info yet in the reports. But institutions know its starts the next number. They also will soon get quarter reports and outlooks. If they are not making bullets, bombs or fuel related products. The will likely take a hit. Add in most products have oil in the price some kind of way fuels inflation. That makes the FED less likely to cut. Add in fertilizer for food, helium for chips, sulfuric for copper etc prices higher. The chip jobs/stocks in tech may take a hit. Thats pretty much all but the guys in big oil/bullets.

You can add caustic soda in most things also going up. Its in anything most touch, through aluminum, pvc even packaging. For the DT guys, it makes your beer cost more.
On a positive related note. The world has been getting fat. We are going on a diet.

Anyway the news came on a holiday. The market has not reacted yet. There may be volatile movements or gaps on opens.

The usd looks like it has a confluence direction with oil. Oil may be testing a support soon. If that relation is right. the usd may rise on oil support

We are just whistling pas the graveyard. The number Powel sights here were revised even lower. Its worse than in this warning. 0 net job creation.
Based on March 2026 reports, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated that after accounting for revisions, there has been "effectively... zero net job creation in the private sector" over recent months. Powell noted this indicates a significantly softened labor market, largely driven by a non-existent growth in the labor force.

oil wti is above the bull mark, brent is still lingering just above 111.34 on the bull side of support. The nzd back above 5703.. Most of the majors in the chop zone. With the eu as the exception above 1519 bull side.. It kind of an outliner. I had the swiss as strong. But its sideways too. The usdx is weighted with the euro. So it cant rise without a eu b/o run below 1519 and 1488,

eu remains in a triangle, still room for more range play

deadline from the orange man today. Unless he TACOs again there is not much room for eu to go up
