Your interpretation is reasonable. however, in proprietary trading, Max Daily Loss. refers to the maximum intraday drawdown, not the end of day result. Any breach.however brief.constitutes a violation, even if the account later recovers. This framework is intentionally designed to enforce disciplined risk management and prevent excessive exposure, making the terminology somewhat imprecise but operationally clear.
