I didn’t take courses on my own, since I have free stuff from my friend, who studied first offline in our hometown, learning just the basics, nothing serious. All resources were available online, so it was a good start to learn basics, because at this time I didn’t even know what forex means, what to say about particular trading strategies.
After the same friend took a course on smart money trading through the discord I liked the idea of “trading like market makers”, thinking this is my edge to beat usual retail traders, because I’m trading like institutions do…
A conclusion that I made, is Youtube is pretty enough, unless you have a proven mentor who will take you under his wing. Learn basics for free, pick the strategy that you think have more sense, and spend months on backtesting and developing your unique trading strategy, cutting what doesn’t work and improving what does.
