Trading gold can be tricky now.. my approach is buying dips when war news are positive.. but Iran in this case will not ease the war and are now laying mines in strait of hurmuz. Wait for dips and load up.

Gonna be a big fight between buyer and seller as W1 show downward, MN show upward, 0.5 level of W1 have just touched yesterday (still no good for seller as price did not break 15x) 0.5 of MN was below of 4997. Looking is good option as price need to break at least this week low or yesterday high properly.

yeah same im targetting 275 as well, but lets see how macro plays out

Enter long when the M5 candle closes above the upper Bollinger band and the recent M5 swing high, ideally confirmed by an M15 close above the same level and H1 bias turning bullish; place the initial entry on a clean retest of the breakout (or on the breakout candle if you accept higher slippage), set a stop just below the 20‑period middle band or the opposite signal level, size the position so risk is ≤1–3% of your account, take partial profits at the first nearby resistance/TP1 (trail the stop to breakeven after partial exit), and let the remainder run toward TP2 while trailing below successive pullbacks or below the middle band to protect gains.

276 is a weekly median measured move, but can stay by 75% aka 50% as it did at the botton, price fluctuate between 75% / 125% but last one is not very commom.
