Yes, does it matter how long? Look at the chsrt I posted if you understand it thrn you can see the resistance already built up. Usually it should touch 4960 before any serious up move.

On my chart the down trendline is being breached
Perhaps one more retest broken trendline before reversing

Any tips on how to manage my emotions? I started trading about three months ago and have had trouble controlling my emotions ever since. I can't leave a trade alone or look at it, which leads to closing positions and self-doubt.

Educational Breakdown Repeating Short Pattern 12 Feb and Today

The short setup that played out today is the exact same structure as the short I missed on 12 Feb. Two identical opportunities with the same behavior and the same build up, and I missed both. This is exactly why this pattern is now part of my system.

12 Feb
• Short bias with two clear short zones
• Asia Close High supported the first zone
• Setup formed in five minutes based on Asia Close H
• Missed because I did not identify the pattern


Today
• Same short bias and the same two short zones
• Asia Close High supported the first zone again
• Same five minute build up on Asia Close H
• Missed it again

Shared Structure
• Short bias
• Two short zones
• Asia Close High supporting the first zone fully
• Five minute setup forming on Asia Close H
• Same micro structure and execution logic

Final Note
This pattern is now locked in and I will refine it moving forward. I will apply it on both biases and test it forward using both Asia Close High and Asia Close Low, even though it currently appears only with the short bias and Asia Close High.

Think you're trading demo using your real money. Use the "what's more valuable in my life, sanity or financial value?"

More important, act consistent. You win, you lose, just do it again, learn from mistakes and that's it. Hope it helps!

Maybe friday cuz we had some news tommorow so I guess gold will go bullish again at 3 PM UTC, so it 100% be a 4PM utc trap, just like yesterday.

But aslo, always the bigger timeframe candle is not finished, so we should base on that sometimes.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a long candle in the area of 4830.. either on Asia or tomorrow..

i will go for sleep, i want to bet with you, possible price close in this hole from 08x - 04x (to be exact 070 is middle then it should stay at middle), tomorrow we can see it get back to 140 and after that back to this hole again or just simple close below 100 (and that is the scenario for sell). im not sure 100% due to market doesnt show hand, but according to current movement it seem to be trap both sell and buy at this small hole then can extension to both side

Hi everyone, I've been studying and trading XAUUSD (gold) for about 2 months and I've been dedicating a lot of time to improving.
I'd like to know if you have any study methodologies, analysis routines, or materials you recommend for someone who is starting out but wants to take trading seriously. I'm mainly interested in How you structure your chart studies (backtesting, replay, etc.).
What concepts or strategies do you consider essential for someone trading gold?
What was your learning process like at the beginning?
I would greatly appreciate any tips or guidance you can share.
