Bank holiday in UK - what effect that?? If any... just wondering on thoughts there.

The GAP on the GBP/JPY(50pips) and GBP/USD(30pips) still has a gap worth on the buy side of things ...i can drop a little more and hit a FIB line but move up to fill...area

well.. There will be some bad news coming out every day at least for the next 6 months . Since I only do technical trading, I try to rely less on fundamentals and more onmy indicators. As you may already aware I'm testing a new strategy on smaller 30min and 15 min TF. Therefor if there's a sudden trend reversal I can spot it much earlier.

Do you or did they mean 2 billion dollars worth of puts?

If you buy calls, then you profit if it goes up. If you buy puts, then you profit if it goes down.

Did you hear that someone made bought 2 billion worth of calls on the S&P 500 that will only make money if the S&P drops by 30% by the third friday in september? Somebody else did the same thing on the Eurostox 50. Somebody either knows something or they like making crazy bets on the market.

So bears have good ears? Seriously, where did you hear that? It's not the amount that's interesting but the time. I believe there is a Gann Sq9 reversal on 6th Sept. Any Gann followers know anything about 21st Sept?
I suppose I'll have to check if no-one answers.

Also, S&P and FTSE closely follow but DOW seems to be a beast on its own. Some charts to compare attached.

You're lucky you've got your 20 lots profits.....mine still waiting for my broker to open......I went long on Friday (hedging)....Now it's +99 pips I can close it....damn it.....hopefully by the time my broker opens up....the +99 pips is still standing...
