Hey, I'm new here, I'm finishing calibration, I want to buy a 50,000 booster for 12 months, is there a real chance to earn 500 USD every month or more? I have an expert advisor who is very effective on gold, he opens transactions from 0.1 lot to 0.13 lot, only in the long direction, does anyone of you have a 50,000 booster to share approximate earnings?

My account earned $5,000 during the calibration phase. Is that a lot or a little? Lot from 0.1 to 0.13, only gold.

hey kamil..... is that the 100k cdf account.....

my accounts are futures but all things should be relative between futures and cfds...... in other words, someone should be able to match my futures account with their cfd account.....

quite possibly their cfd account could out do me......

in a futures account on a 100k booster my monthly goal is 500$...... only once a month i might trade gold, silver or copper...... those are too risky for me.....

in the account below, i bought those boosters about 20 days ago......

you might be able to compare a 50k booster with that 30k silver allocation...... made 200 this month......

i don't think i could make 500 a month on a 50k......

but somebody else might.....h

hey deroty...... the permanents are for life....... there is no need to rush.....

if you are at risk of blowing a account, odds are your trading too large a size and entering incorrectly...... change that......

darwins var/risk multiple will only drag out decline...... it most likely won't reverse it.....

it might protect it to a degree but you are going to half to change things......

look at your trades on the chart...... it should be obvious what your doing wrong.....

trade with the trend....... trade small..... grains of sand add up.....h

According to AI, even if the 100k of Darwinex Zero permanent allocation drops to 10 USD (yes - 10), there will not be any margin call. As long as the balance is higher than 0 (zero) there will not be a margin call. Below 0, you lose the account. Is that true? So - I do not need the reduce the size of the trades while remaining in the same risk.

that's not how it works......

it's the signal account's equity that must be concerned with margin calls..... but you really really need to stop thinking in terms of margin calls...... it's a destructive habit......

to me, thinking in terms of margin calls is similar to thinking in terms of how many beers you can drink in 1 hour without dying...... neither of those things are productive......

look on your metatrader platform's toolbox for the trades tab...... watch your equity...... margin calls are based on your equity not your balance....... you can have a million$ balance and still get a margin call...... keep your margin level above 5000%......

allocations are based on the highwater mark when purchased....... so if your account's equity is 102,000 and you lose 100,000, your account might not be blown and you might not have gotten a margin call but you still have to get back to 102,000 before you make anything..... and from 2000...... who could do that......

you really need to start thinking in terms of when to not buy and when to not sell...... once you figure that out, there will be no stopping you.......

trade the smallest size possible until you figure it out......h

hey imcou....... hope all is well.....

sorry for the delay in reply....... i changed most all the videos from private to public......they should be visible now..... quite a few had been deleted before...... youtube for me was just an experiment....... an experiment that failed...... perhaps you might find something useful in them......

as for forexfactory threads to focus on, like i said it's a unbreakable habit of mine to avoid all negatives...... most threads, even good ones, end up with posts less than positive..... i will not be a bystander to bickering...... i'll quietly leave.....

fxigor's tsr thread might be of value....... it's based on the tsr, which is the hull moving average...... it was the tsr which i used to teach peyton trading..... there should be videos on it....... tsr /hull/hma is a moving average...... moving averages and momentum indicators are key for me......

as for trading system for trading in props , what seems best is trend trading down to the 1 minute chart with a eye on stochastics...... a single 1 minute cycle can be worth hundreds if using micros and thousands if using full size.....

the point of that is not what you can make, but rather what you can lose in a minute cycle if you enter poorly...... most props are designed to where you can not just shoot from the hip...... you must have it right all the way down to the 1 minute......

you can build a good system around nothing more than moving averages and momentum indicators.......

trade small...... have realistic targets..... h

the silver allotments should start getting larger....... each month makes it increasingly easier because of the return of last 5 months factor helps......

And that's 4 million no slippage right? Imagine if all 17 of your accounts (looking at screen image above) contained all 36-month boosters!!! hey codemaster........ only have 14 live accounts, the ones with the white bar underneath saying their online...... those other 3 are some i cancelled back when the no more permanent allocations news came out....... now used for coding only.......

12 should have 600k in funding plus whatever silver allocations they get....... will be well over the required 7 million...... the remaining 2 will have 500k each......

really not sure about the slippage, it's not something i ever look at...... commissions and spread either....... they have little impact on me, but clearly see how they might impact others......

there is a benefit in investors but if there was a way to politely decline them i would...... but that's darwins decision not mine......

have given a lot of thought about how many accounts would be best...... 12 is a minimum.....

the return made on 7 million in boosters would be the same as 7 million in investors......

investors are people...... boosters are robots.....

which would you rather deal with.....h

Lol on the robots vs. people.....Fortunately, Darwinex deals with the investors, we don't need to.
I am on the same page as you, much smaller scale and just running numbers on where to scale short-term (3-6 months).
Have 3 Darwins, 1 Gold, 2 @ close to 18% so will be Gold hopefully within a month. Contolling what I can control and hitting 50K allocations every month in each, which are good for 6 months in Gold, gives me 300K in each, for a total of 900K. Of course, I would assume some investor AUM, but not contollable.
Your 7 million target at 3% monthly return earns just shy of $400K per year.
Here is where my battle comes in......do I start adding new Darwins (I am not copy trading, all 3 are traded separately), add boosters to current, do both???
Short term, money is better served in props due to 80-90% share, however, I am very successful at Darwinex and truly struggle with the props with the trailing DD, even EOD as it still trails, can't hold overnight, can't add/take off, hedge, etc. Of course, always a pretty good chance of being successful and then not getting paid anyway. .Maybe go back to FTMO and the 5%ers and trade spot indicies with static DD.
Of course, can continue to do both, but every time I throw a few hundred at the props, my mind says should've used that for a booster you moron.
Plus with the props, it's only short term anyway as there is no way this model as it is can survive...
I don't wish to sacrifice long term for short term.....but the instant boosters are costly and the ones with targets....that investment would yield so much more in a prop.

I believe the return made on 7 million in boosters would be far more than the return made on 7 million from investors because with the investor account, the trades get copied live into the market with a high chance of slippage so not as much profit as boosters which has very minimal slippage because it's all demo and none of it is live. If boosters were live, then they wouldn't have DZero Hedge.

In fact, I don't think they have accounts for Darwinia, Permanent and Booster allocations. What I think happens is say you get an allocation on a certain date. What I think happens is they take your Darwin Index Value on that date and then when your monthly/quarterly pay date is up, they take the value of your Index on that date and whatever % return you make on the index in that time, they apply that % to your allocation and you get 15% of the profit.

For example, say you buy an instant 100k booster on a certain date and your index is at 110. Now on the pay date, say your index is at 115.5. The % return on your index is 5% so you would make 5k on your 100k booster and get 5k * 0.15 = 750 Euros.

Why would Darwinex create several demo allocation accounts on top of your demo Darwinex Index account when they can just read % values off the index at certain dates to simulate an allocation?

Adding to this, there is a lot more competition for investor money these days, so getting to 7 million from investors would be mission difficult and keeping the investors would probably be mission impossible, so I would probably prefer 7 million 36-month(20%Target) boosters over 7 million in investors :-)

lots of good points....... lots of things to weigh out......

to me, prop firms have a true value...... my accounts with apex are for life..... those 300k's cost me around 150$ total each...... for life...... if i can make 150$ a week, i'll double my investment every week...... for life.....

darwin is far more expensive in terms of doubling your money due to the boosters shorter time life...... but your still doubling your money....... and easier for the reasons you mentioned.....

there is a long line of traders waiting for darwin gold allocations and investors.... those guys have years head start.....

if i had a guarantee that darwin would never complain, i would get another account every week.... if you can come out of calibration with a risk multiple greater than 2, boosters double their value....... with a multiple of 0.5, they are worth half their value....

that multiplier is key.......h

So only 1 of my Darwins has a multiplier above 1, obviously that would be the clear choice for the booster.
Perhaps start a 4th, aim for a 1+ booster and select monthly payouts.....
Do you do monthly or quaterly on payouts....obviously easier to reinvest booster earnings to scale more boosters with monthly.
