elemnetry math:
if you get 10% for 145 consecutive times,,,,,,,,,, your account will be doubled by 1,000,000 times . .
proof: (1+10%)^145 = (1+10/100)^145 = (1.1)^145 > 1,000,000

and if you start by 100 USD . . .
and your target is 5000 USD . .. and each successful trial is 10% ,,, then:

5000=100*(1.1)^x

5000/100=1.1^x
log(5000/100)= x . log(1.1)
x = log(5000/100)/log(1.1) = log(50)/log(1.1) = 41 times

I isolated limit and stop orders for both B and S . . to give you more control/differintiation

prev you are enforced to use stop or limit for both buy and sell ....
now you can choose . .

What do you mean when you say the sell positions were hedged? did you change to hedge mode?

And maybe this is related, do you routinely cut loss when you have orders in the wrong direction or wait for the EA to balance it out?

Technical closings are very good in small cycles (short periods of time).
But not very good "in the long run".
Long cycles are more likely to result in losses...
How can I "teach" the Expert Advisor to work with short cycles? Perhaps this can be done with existing parameters, but I haven't figured out how...
