Exactly. You don’t hedge because you know what will happen you hedge because you don’t. With quantum as a real but uncertain risk, the rational move isn’t to argue timelines, it’s to reduce single-point failure now. Hedging is just good risk management.

Just in case anyone thinks the thread is dead, fear not, still hedging/averaging here in 2026.
Been shorting EU for months, picking up swap and cashing in on the bounces despite the upward trend.
Small amounts, big bank and patience still applies kids. P.S. +the odd div trade for fun.
