Hello! For DDS slingshots back to RSIOMA, we have to remember that Alien mentions that they sometimes fail, so we have to look at the bigger picture to understand if they have a chance to work out or not. The first thing I look for is to ensure DDS red has crossed green (for shorts). In your screenshot for the 1 hour, the DDS never crossed short. You have to also look at the overall structure of Gold. Gold loves to ride the waves, meaning that if we see a strong down move, we will more than likely see some type of retracement long before continuing short. In this case, you can see this by noticing that all of the 3 stochs are bottomed out together, signifying a potential move up. Another thing to consider is liquidity. There is a lot of liquidity that built up prior to the move back long. Gold took out the liquidity short and went back to the long side for a temporary move back up long. Also note the time of day. Gold has high volume during the NY session. This spike down that took liquidity also swept the London low during the NY session, which gave it the fuel to push higher. If the 1hr candle CLOSED below the London low, then I would be more likely to look for shorts, but that 10am EST 1 hour candle closed back in the range after sweeping the London low, so that would have been 100% long bias for me (for a countertrend trade). Also, once you see the RSIOMA and 21 stoch moving up, this signifies a price moving up (another wave). This would have presented itself as you wait for the DDS to cross red over green, which never materialized, as the sweep of London low during NY kill zone occurred. Hope this helps.

And one more bit of information that I hope helps you. You were attempting to short into a really large price imbalance. I would stay away from shorting into such an area. In fact, price has a tendency to fill such an imbalance area and continue long in this case. Also, here is a look at the sweep of the London low during NY kill zone. Notice that the 1 hour candle CLOSED back in the range after the sweep, indicating that this was indeed a sweep of the London low (and not a continuation short). The market used this liquidity as fuel to push price long temporarily. For me, waiting for a candle to close gives me more info on what price is trying to do. This is for any timeframe. Alien helps us see this by bottoming out the 3 stochs, not having DDS cross short, RSIOMA starting to rise, 21 stoch starting to rise, etc. Understanding market structure will turbo-charge your Alien setups. Hello Alien Team,
Here is another example of using the RSIOMA to join in with the daily trading bias. By looking at HTFs, we know that Gold is bullish. Now we use the 15 min chart to watch RSIOMA cross 50%. Mark that on your chart. Then drop down to the 1 min and ride the waves in that direction. Make sure to use the other Alien indicators to help you understand the strength of the RSIOMA cross. As you will note, on the 15 min chart, the Multi DDS shows the 1 hour DDS going long, so that is the direction I am expecting price to move (15 min DDS joins with the crossover). I also see the beginnings of ADX long strength as well. 8,3,3 stoch showing slingshot as well, which formed later, but another indication of long price movement.

On the 1 min chart, you just wait for Alien signals in your direction. We see a DDS slingshot form and complete. RSIOMA then crosses thru 50% short, which I would stay away from seeing that the 5 min red DDS is moving short (bottom pane). This goes for the next move long thru 50% RSIOMA, seeing that red 5 min DDS is still short. So I wait for the next push long thru 50% RSIOMA, and when it happens, 1 min and 5 min DDS are long, as they are moving back up long to meet up with 15 min and 1 hour DDS. RSIOMA and 21 stoch crossing 50%. 100 stoch crossing up to join them. Then 100 stoch tops above 80%...stay in the trade until100 stoch comes out of 80% area, taking partials along the way. Note the 2 additional entries with DDS slingshots. If the set up looks good, i like to get in the trade when RSIOMA crosses 50% on the 1 min, but will look at price action to ensure it makes sense. I am a scalper/day trader, so if I make 20-30 units, it is good money for me. Sometimes Gold runs longer and I ensure I take partials as the trade runs. Gold is known to range/move in 30-50 pip waves, so keep that in mind as well. Take profit and pay yourself. Hope this helps someone.

Hi HB pips,Thanks for taking out time to share your experience in using this system. pls can you shed more light on what else you look out for on the 15min tf ,like the cross up of the rsioma there was another cross up before that one, what made you not go with one. Thanks once again

hi, it looks like you are referring to the 15 min front crossover that HB Pips missed. I think it was a news breakout or trump's speech that caused the price to jump so fast. Hope it is right!

Hello aliens, I am using this kind of strategy, but I have added some extra filters. I have been using the alien system for many years. It works very well. The biggest issue is where to place the stop loss. For that, I have used volume. Look at this chart. In a retracement wave, I mark the highest volume candle. This is the first sign that the retracement is over. Now, I wait for M1, M5, and M15 Rsioma to align. As soon as they align, I enter the trade and place the stop loss below the highest volume candle. Look at this chart and backtest it; you will see amazing results.

Hello everyone,
lets restart this thread yesterday closed a nice quick scalp on Gold using the system's signals on the lower timeframes.
Entered multiple small buy positions around 4414-4415 zone yesterday morning.
T/P hit cleanly at 4416.18 and 4416.25 levels.
Total profit across the tickets: +83.8 pips (28.65 + 3.30 + 13.95 + wait, actually looking at the closed trades it's over 80 pips combined in a very short time).
Pure M1/M5 execution with the Aliens visuals – the alignment on the ADX clusters and the momentum lines gave a clear low-risk entry.

I have some questions and would love your insight. When searching for a Long entry on the M1 timeframe, which of the following criteria must the H1 timeframe meet?

  1. RSIOMA: Positioned above the signal line and greater than 50.
  2. DD: Crossing above the signal line
  3. STO (21, 10, 10): Greater than 50
  4. STO (8, 3, 3): Increasing and greater than 50.

On the M5 just check RSIOMA and DD or all criteria like 1H
Is it necessary to check the H4 and D1 timeframes for a scalping strategy?
When RSIOMA 1H below the signal line but still greater than 50, do you searching L entry on the lower timeframe?
