My MT5 was downloaded from https://www.metatrader5.com/, but it’s been stuck at version 5430. It never automatically pushed any updates to me.

Interesting, thanks for the info Irweinan.

If that doesn't work for some people, I'm just copying and pasting the v5430 terminal64.exe (found in the link to mql5.com earlier in this thread) into my metatrader 5 folder each time I want to start mt5, then right clicking on it and "run as administrator"

Thanks, I'm sticking to that for now,

Last night I put that over on NAS100 and it made about 20% of the account, with about 13% drawdown at worst,

I put it on Gold but this time the option was 'Netting', there's only two trades, one at -13% drawdown and one other, there's no multiple trades recovering the drawdown as in 'normal' in NAS100, is this the difference between netting and normal modes?

Additionally, can anyone tell me the safest settings with the least possible drawdown?

Things I would appreciate if you could answer

1. Difference between normal, hedging and netting modes

2. What is MCP, it is default set to 5000, what does changing its value do?

3. Strategic TP percentage - default 13% and then it goes down, what does this do, does changing the value make any difference?

4. PNDING at 1.0, how does changing this value affect the trades?

5. TP default at 250, does reducing or increasing make any difference?

6. Direct / Opposite - what to use in what market conditions?

7. Does tick timers make any difference or it just for visual purposes?

8. R/3 is default, how does changing this value affect the results?

9. Worst best price? I read that it reduces risk, how so? Best. Worse and None? How does this affect the EA?

10. Best to use for volatile markets, trending / ranging?

11. Spare pips near default 5.0, spare pips far default 500, what does this mean?

12. Any other tips for when you want something specific done, for example, I want to close my positions quickly, what do I do?

You spoke about a manual, the above questions once answered, I can compile into a pdf, and then increase as I go, or it would be just helpful for anyone making the pdf

no default values in this epxert ... but i was enforced to fill empty field with any random values . . just not to leave them empty

and always there is no default setting . . . for ever / /
MCP: was ecplained in detail or in videos . . = 90% of this expert strength .. it is the value that makes you sleep . .

Is it possible to change the activation color of the Jackson Key and Irweinan Key buttons from white to another color? I don't see this option in the CSV files, and on a white background it is not visible.
