If we really go sink, here is my runner set and forget... Extended target of volatility median price.
4698.238 is a monthly median quarter... Just to people know, next in stairs 4h closing below is 4562.585
As long we go down i just follow price...

Edit: Not that i believe, we have strong support in de middle....

Starting buy a buy limit here, not allowing 4h closing below this price... If it does will average...4766.400

I have a sneaking suspicion that we might remain range bound of 4500-4900 before any bullish continuation

This is very good cos we need this correction before pushing to set new highs. The only way it can break & hold 5600 is if we correct to at least 4600-700 cause that’s the buyers zone

Currently it’s trying to break below the support at 4706 with second support at 4500. I don’t know if markets can correct all the way to 4400 but if they do that could be scary when bullish momentum resumes. We could see up to $100 upward movement

You really think it could break below 4562?

If it does that then we are probably witnessing a monthly correction not even daily/weekly. The whole of February could turn into one giant red candle correcting from RSI of 90 to around 60

Yes if we go down, will break a monthly support and that i don«t believe will do easy, in that case it will need a weekly close below 4517.250
I only get my day in seconds after get in, it just spike, now i swing in 4h only...
As i always say gaps i prefer 4h closing and validate above or below prior day close.

The friday rejection pattern is still active, this open can be just a test to then go up at least to 5015...

interesting fight between bull and bears bears slightly up but it could swing either way. If 4700 is the area to crack then maybe see a longer term bearish move to below 4000. If only it’s that easy.

Crazy tp.. but i am waiting for this 1h to close not making any fomo entery.. just waiting for the setup to appear haha

'CME raised margin requirements on Comex gold and silver futures after prices saw their sharpest drops in decades. The decision landed after a violent selloff that wiped out leveraged positions across metals.
Gold and silver both collapsed on Friday as traders rushed to close positions, and margin calls spread fast. The change takes effect from Monday’s close and applies to gold, silver, platinum, and palladium futures.
For traders, the message from CME is blunt. If you want to trade metals in this market, you need more cash upfront. Gold margins for non‑heightened risk profiles rise from 6% to 8% of contract value.
For heightened risk profiles, margins rise from 6.6% to 8.8%. Silver margins jump harder. Non‑heightened risk margins rise from 11% to 15%, while heightened risk margins increase from 12.1% to 16.5%. Platinum and palladium margins also go up.'

This was one of the reasons of the Thursday/Friday crash on Gold and Silver among others. CME made it a few times in December/January and each has caused big drop at metals. Just fyi.

Guys i said it during weekend prior week monday reject price, the open test the exact same high, my advice is wait to 4h close bearish to have better understanding what monday could be....
I already said the median monthly support in front and the quarter, a 4h closing below is keeping the bearish pressure active to 1 more 4h expansion minimun.
I have a divergence at this zones, so i will let trade open no matter what, but no afraid of play a buy here also, price will average as soon it closes below 4676.235.
Just measure this price and the 4h that close below... Is a strong daily support, not the traditional ones, but it is in confluence with weekly not played yet.
Both will be average in 4h and the other in daily close below...
Always having into account volatility and i keep insisting on this because many people had not loss accounts last week looking to volatility as stop.

I am taking a long here. Full size @4752. It is flyer i guess. I am looking for a dead cat bounce after that Friday long a*** bearish bar.
I have a tight stop, which is little above the low of the day, 4710.

I am also looking at the divergence but waiting for confirmation

Taking half here for 70 pips profit and going let the remaining run with BE as the stop loss
