Hello
I am using a scalping ea working very well on exness standart account.
but when trying to use on exness real sdandart account it make loss.
why ?

Slippage is one of the biggest challenges when running scalping EAs, especially on real accounts. What you’re seeing is quite common:

Execution Reality: Demo fills are simulated- they don’t reflect true liquidity or market depth. On a real Market standard account, every order has to be matched in the market, so even a fraction of a second delay can mean your entry is off by a few pips.

Scalping Sensitivity: Scalpers live on razor- thin margins. A 1-2 pip slip can flip a winning trade into a loss. That’s why slippage feels much harsher in scalping than in swing trading.

Broker Model: Broker uses market execution on live accounts, meaning you get the next available price, not the one your EA requested. On demo, it’s instant execution- no re‑quotes, no liquidity checks.

Conditions that Amplify Slippage: High-impact news, NY open volatility, or thin liquidity hours. These are the moments when your EA’s 'perfect' logic collides with real‑world execution.

Smart fixes to consider:
- Run the EA on Raw Spread/ECN accounts where execution is faster and spreads are tighter.
- Use a VPS located near the broker’s servers to cut latency.
- Avoid trading during news spikes- slippage is worst then.
- Adjust your EA’s TP/SL logic to factor in realistic slippage.

So, the EA isn’t broken- it’s just that demo conditions are a sandbox, while live trading is the battlefield. Scalping requires near perfect execution infrastructure, otherwise slippage will eat the edge.

why copy trading via fxblue not working also from profitable demo account to real account ?

Let's say you have a 100K position, and you want to exit the trade. If you bought, you would need to sell in order to exit your position. For example, you bought 100K at 1.1000 and now you want to exit at 1.1200, but the order book looks like this:

1.1200 --- 20K
1.1199 --- 10K
1.1150 --- 10K
1.1120 --- 10K
1.1100 --- 50K

Under these conditions, when you "market sell" to exit the long (buy) trade, there is not enough liquidity at the desired price of 1.1200, and as the broker exits by market, it will liquidate your position using the available liquidity. And in this example you are going to exit your trade at the average price of ~1.1137 instead of the desired 1.1200, because there were not enough people buying at that price.

No. You will always have that risk. Especially on real account.

Exactly. I will add: I do not set SL/TP on the robot trades. My code meassure the profit of the trade as it is running. Then I exit at the loss in $ or profit in $ according to my strategy. That way I do not have to adjust SL and TP according to the actual price I got at the trade. The command I use is "OrderProfit()".
MetaTrader 4 - so many advantages.

Yeah, this is super common with scalping EAs, especially when you move from demo to a real Standard account. The EA didn’t suddenly get worse- the execution environment changed on you.

Demo fills are basically fantasy-land:
On demo, everything fills instantly at the price you click. No liquidity, no queue, no slippage. It’s all simulated.
On a real Standard account, your order actually has to hit the market. If price moves even a tiny bit while your order is being processed, you get slipped.

Scalping makes this 10× worse:
Scalpers rely on tiny profit targets. A -2 pip slip is enough to turn a winner into a loser. Swing traders don’t even notice it- scalpers feel every pip like a punch.

Standard accounts use market execution:
That means you get the next available price, not the one your EA requested. On demo, it’s basically 'sure, here’s the exact price you wanted.

Slippage gets brutal during:
- news releases
- market opens
- low liquidity hours
- sudden volatility spikes
Your EA might be perfect logically, but execution during these times is messy.

What you can actually do:
- Try running it on a Raw/ECN account- spreads are tighter and fills are usually faster.
- Use a VPS close to the broker’s servers to cut latency.
- Block trading during news events.
- Adjust your EA’s logic to expect some slippage instead of assuming perfect fills.

So yeah, nothing is 'wrong' with your EA. Demo is a smooth playground; live trading is where you see the real friction. Scalping only works when your execution setup is dialed in.

Are these two different servers you're connecting to? Demo servers will always have better results, lowered spreads, no slippage.

I've spent a couple of weeks recently looking into this issue, and the only real solution that has any significant impact is to set up a VPS near your broker's servers. Anything else has negligible impact.

I am trying to copy this trades from exness demo account to real account but it gives different results.
while domo make good profits, the real account make losess. why do you think ?
it is not simple scalping.

Two big levers: cut latency (VPS in the same data center/region as the broker/LP) and favor providing liquidity (limit-on-touch) outside news spikes. In tick-replay tests, that combo cuts slippage materially. During CPI/NFP, the best fix is often skipping the first minute

I saw that already the usual advice was given and that was always use ECN or RAW spread account types for scalping EAs. This is a must. But also be aware that the biggest con of any scalping EA is precisely the slippages and unfortunately there is no fix for that. Even using a VPS server, which additionally improves the latency is not a guaranteed fix. Simply , there is no fix to this. This is the nature of the market

Basically, there is no way to "solve" the problem. Slippage is part of how the market works.
The Broker/s are not necessarily your enemy. You want to buy and sell currencies, they provide that service. The market does not necessarily have the price you want every time you want to transact. They are your intermediary with the market. Do no expect them to lose money while providing a service.
A good broker will give the best price available in that millisecond, a bad Broker will take advantage and slip you a bit further of you order price.
