Hi

I have a very intresting method called slinky 3 digital

its for the 1 hour charts

i was inspired by Dennis Durham, from trade the turn, with this method i use super trend with an offset and bollinger band stop indicator

for buy i want blue dots inside the green box exit on yellow after blue

for sell i want yellow dots inside red box then exit on blue dot after yellow

an EA would be amazing for this

blue after yellow dots buy

yellow after blue sell

in line with super trend

I actually understand jamesagnew through the years of his trials and tribulations, he tried and that is more then at I can say about other 95% of FF "wannabees" looking for perfect indicator and requesting to "give me a holy grail now". Good Luck to You in other endeavors!

When you say 'tried', I am not sure opening 83 threads with his 'idea of the moment' just to try and get some fool to make him an EA that won't work and then abandoning every single thread literally within hours/days is 'trying'. But I sort of get your perspective

The definition of insanity is, doing the exact same thing over and over again, YET expecting a different result each time.
If he ever realizes that you dont need any indicators to be successful, perhaps then, he can step off the merry-go-round

The thing for me is, some people are successful with indicators, some are not. Some people are pure genius with price action, some are not. The list goes on. But the honest and real truth is, it does not land on a plate for you. You can even follow some of the successful traders that already exist and fail. There absolutely is no shortcut to the hard work and time in my opinion, and our friend James has just never applied himself (at least visibly) to his ideas. Sure, there are lucky people that arrive in a certain type of market at a certain time, and think they have the midas touch but it always sorts itself out in the end. There are many new Gold traders out there that think they are smashing it, and they probably are, will they be in 6-9 months time ? Who knows.......

Of course - your definition of insanity is 100% correct.

Agree with all you say. 99% of the newbie traders have found their way here via crypto, where they got lucky. I was the same with the DotCom boom of the 90s. Thought I could do no wrong. The FX market quickly slapped that shit out of me.. I also chased the magical indicator that NO ONE had ever thought of ,and guess what?? there is nothing new, and if there is, not a hope in hell anyone will share it.....

The crypto kiddies are just new liquidity, most are too busy with their Youtube and insta crap, offering advice from their 5 years in the market
There will be much blood on the charts at some stage..........

The rare few that do make it, well and truly deserve it..
