Just went short EurUsd at 1.1825. Targeting 1.1735 (+2%) Stop at 1.2005 (-4%).

The EUR/USD closed the week up by a record 257 pips, establishing a range between 1.1576 and 1.1833. After breaking 1.1768 and closing above the 1.1808 high, the pair is now targeting the 1.1919 level. Support is located at 1.1728 and 1.1669, as well as at the previously mentioned broken resistance levels. While I expect continued bullish price action, I am mindful of a potential correction in the near term.


Weekly volatility (range) 118 pips

Significant news - US Durable Goods, US Initial Jobless Claims, US Factory Orders, US Trade Balance, US Interest Rate Decision & US PPI

EURUSD – outlook for the coming week

Key range
1.1830 – 1.1743
This is the main framework where decisions will be made.

Scenario A – Bullish continuation (conditional)
Valid if:

  1. we hold ABOVE 1.1743
  2. a new H1 higher low forms
  3. no H1 CHOCH DOWN occurs

Then:

  1. repeated test of 1.1830
  2. with an H1/H4 close above 1.1830:

    1. BOS UP
    2. higher targets: 1.188 → 1.190+


Scenario B – Range / distribution
Valid if:

  1. the market oscillates between 1.1830 – 1.1743
  2. without a clear close-break

Then:

  1. chop
  2. no trend
  3. only reactions at the range boundaries

Scenario C – Bearish shift
Valid if:

  1. H1 close BELOW 1.1743
  2. confirmed CHOCH DOWN

Then:

  1. move back to 1.1700
  2. then 1.1668
  3. potentially 1.1627

What to watch first (Monday)
Market open:

  1. above / below 1.1800
    Reaction at 1.1743
    Whether a new HL forms or the HL breaks

Next week won’t decide direction — it will decide whether 1.1743 holds.


Summary:

1.1754 = first stop / intermediate reaction before 1.1743, but not decisive.

Strictly technical view:
1.1754

  1. internal H1 pivot
  2. may cause a short bounce / slowdown
  3. does not protect structure

1.1743

  1. MAIN level
  2. CHOCH trigger
  3. this is where the decision is made

Reading price action from above:

  1. reaction at 1.1754 → only a brake
  2. break of 1.1754 → test of 1.1743
  3. H1 close below 1.1743 → CHOCH DOWN

1.1754 may pause the market briefly — 1.1743 decides.

1.1743 1.1754 really important for both bull and bear next week if we get there.

bull is likely to bounce from there if we get back to those levels

if market sentiment really sour on usd - actually something Trump really wants. It can be another couple hundred pips without retracement

1.2 simply matter of time. We might have completed the ranging since July last year and really for the next big rally

The EUR/USD gapped up at the open, reaching 1.1898 before consolidating some of its gains. However, it is trading well above the 1.1835/20 broken resistance levels and the 1.1809/00 support zone, both of which are expected to hold. The 1.1900/19 resistance levels are the primary targets, with the risk of the pair advancing further toward 1.1975.
