any geopolitical reasons to make gold go up this high? just woke up after a buy at 4770 my power went out too and i find it 100 dollars up, price stayed at 4700 for barely a day and now 4800 almost gone too, cant even trade anymore theirs no confirmation
alot to do with trump and greenland. with tarrifs on france and all of that has been an impact towards it all I believe.

and trump is speaking in 5 hours too? atp end of the week gold will be at 6k, even silver is almost at 100$, now everyday im gonna be like "hmm what if gold just retraces" we have 4700 empty and now half of 800s

The overall trend is still bullish. Sell scalps for restructuring and targeting the nearest OB. Don't blindly follow. IMHO

what is a good entry with this little setback? by now i simply dont know how to read ath gold anymore... lost another 6% this morning

By the way i am now only stuck to scalps with small lots just for sake of timepass, its not actually time pass , but being in market.. now daily range may get to 200-300 usd, quite vulnerable. I doubt if it stabalises by mid of feb.

sellers are trying to come in but buyers are just overwhelming

Some members ask me about my methodologies in trading. I'm just using Price Action and SMC (naked chart). If got confluences i will combine with SnR and SnD. My target is OB. My analysis is based on ORDER FLOW with the DOM component (layering) signs by CRS. What is Order Flow? Order Flow refers to the real-time analysis of buy and sell orders entering the market that drive price movements. . Why does it matter with Order Flow? It short-term trade, and it is viewed for the micro of current market behavior.

Looks like the London session is now well under chillout mode hopefully get some more upward momentum during NYO maybe touch 4900 later

As for me, i successfully negotiate to pay a fixed amount per month, just so i can enjoy swap free. The difference is covered by the broker, but i pay a slighly higher commission then their average, but in the end, the duration i hold my trades, the cost i would originally incur thru a normal account is far higher than the fixed amount i pay per month + commission i pay for the positions i open, at most 4 times in a fortnightly. I am a scalper that turns a setup into a swing trade.

One off cost > day-to-day cost is still manageable!
In the end, i am a winner. But if you day trade, the account prescription i own, will cost you more and reduce your profit.

We only shift bearish closing below 4859.255 in H4, next level of mine is still bullish side at 4.929.080. Mid point 4894.168 since they are beeing respected also.
So far only miss 1 level, or they will mitigate that or keep rising...
I don't dare trade without see Ny today.
Safe trades.

EDIT: And also don't see go to much far from 4875.830 this 4H, after Ny open that's ok i accept... Christmas gift. Despite today all forecast from now on be speculation i don't expect Ny faill this tap...

No where is seen to display the true DOM.
I guess that does not exist yet.
Even with bloomberg terminal and refinitiv eikon order flow and DOM, seems to project incomplete data.

The final and most reliable, level still lies in the chart and setup i guess.
