so far so good.

I have about 2h 45m before final confirmation occurs.

from what I have seen final confirmation, is a final confirmation unless what had happened with opening wave early open confirmation.

I have a feeling 1,2,3 confirmation should be final.

realities of day trading.
as the years go by with my accumulation of screen time (I'm on m1 btw)
I'm just reaching a final realization, this is how it looks more often than not.

price doesn't just linearly move up or down on good days they do but I mean "good days!", no matter how good you are at timing, they'll manage to reverse the band if they need to but that doesn't mean your position was wrong, it just means you'll have to take profit earlier depending on how stretched the band was and whether or not this was just a V pull back or some kind of reverse movement.

no matter how you look at it, charts are infinitely complex, maybe my method is more so. that doesn't mean you're going have a ball trading the daily, its just not that simple.but I believe there's a daily flow to chart movement even on m1 and better yet this may sound too controversial I think m1 daily fluctuations eventually produce higher chart movements like how pixels produce an image ? or cells in our body produce a fully functioning sentient beings, or atoms in quantum world gives rise to our physical reality.

when you realize that there's the last puzzle of the piece - unless you learn to "manage" a position you'll never make it. in the end after all is said and done you're left with yourself , you and yourself only. the struggle is internal because our human mind wants things to go as they want or wish but the world is governed by unseen forces like the quantum world and is full of uncertainties that the outcome can change or vary due to conflicting elements but in the end a direction emerges. you can't discount that there's a direction both in trading and in life. its certainly not meaningless or random.

its kind of like when you deduce yourself to a thought, who are you really ?
can you stay with that background hum ?

can you stay with that emerging direction irregardless of the noise ?
will you learn to let go ?
be intentional but can you learn to go with the flow of the river ?

this is a new down leg within yesterdays down movement.
they've almost reached target , I mean yesterdays bears.

but this new leg down could actually continue until after Tokyo lunch break.
but that also requires letting go, I don't think I can deal with that just yet.

Nikkei opens with a gap down,
Friday last trade would have been for bulls but you know there's always a but in trading bears took over.

As far as levels are concerned and with my way of seeing the charts now we're in the bull zone.
However as a minuscule ant that I am Im going to be waiting for a confirmation to enter a trade and if it says it wants to go lower I will regardless of my bias.

Watch size and be nimble , is the only way to survive.

Not sure if it was due to US bank holiday or gap down at the open, price more or less was traded in a range you could say.
Gap is filled however.

Here we have two opposing sides after the initial fall at the gap, however bulls failed to take it higher as you can see bulls HL above the red arrow was taken out, then they tried to take it higher after the second LL if you zoom in you could see the build up or the fight between bulls and bears.

Here onto the smaller details but progression of the move.

I have an idea as to what to do when Tokyo opens and the main level that I'm eyeing is 53459

This is the classic method to analyze market movement the good old Dow Theory god how many years did it take for me to finally get it ?!
And this eventually turns into a full blown trend after 1,2,3 sequence is complete or reverse. Rinse and repeat.

But I have a woo woo method, now thinking about it what I saw was the micro movement. I'm just weird like that, I pick up on weird details. But the main picture is this, seeing price in a serious of highs and lows, H&S and W bottom and tops. Yeah this is it.

Now you do not need me to tell you which side you should be trading "for now".

the clown speaks today at WEF thankfully while I sleep ! so I would be out of positions.

I thought I saw a sign of fall my pre open analysis, but right at the open price somehow decided to test 52101 above not below ! makes a world of difference.
But I wait til the official Tokyo open which is about 50mins away.

For now the now trend is UP.

I have to be aware of the fact that 1h trend is DOWN.

how quick things change around here.
1h downtrend found a bottom.

so it's up again for now.

trend is reversing on m1 chart too !

I had multiple positions
so was able to exit quickly

now Tokyo official open debacle !
as we've seen yd they can do whatever they want.
they can reverse 1h trend on m1 opening !

hence my early exit.
such is life.

price is hovering right around 1h R
on minute chart trend is up and we need a retest of 53358

but they can send it down from 1h R at official Tokyo open.
