ans: he will be a millionare after x days.

solve for x:

log both sides:

log (1000000)=x log (1+40/100) = x log (1.4)

since log (1000000) = 6 ,,,,,,,,,,, there are 6 zeros!

then


x = 6/log(1.4)
then x = 41 days
