Hi KHMR, sory to but in. But i clearly remember the post when karmo entered after he woke up. at this stage, aus's strategie was on. 4h crossed up and 1h just crossed up and close to 50. so i'm not sure what you mean by indicaters bearish? chears.....Bill

my trailing stop was taken out at 231.06....i re-entered long@ 230.91...

Japanese interest rate statement which may come out any time between 10 p.m. New York time and maybe 1 a.m. New York time. Japanese government has injected several billion yen into the market, same as the European Central Bank did. They did it at the urge of the US Federal Reserve in order to stabilize the markets because due to the subprime mortgage problems in the U.S., the dollar is being less in demand so to speak, and being more injected into the market. In order to provide a credit stability, and not to drive certain pairs up too high, Japanese injected some yens. Basically, if they hike the rate tomorrow, Wednesday night, of course we will probably see USD/JPY and GBP/JPY going down. I would say USD/JPY would probably go down by 200 to 300 pips in the first hour of the report, and GBP/JPY may go down by as much as 600-700 pips in the first hour of the report - if the Japan decides to hike. This is highly unlikely, and if they don't hike, probably there will be no price action at all.

Good morning all,

I see that we have another Mikew in the thread. I'm the one with the big W and without the avatar.

I'm still holding my long. The area that we are now in (230.84 - 231.70) is one of the big tests for the up move (there are others). It will probably bounce off this and I'm counting on the 229.00 - 229.60 area to hold as support and send it back up. If not then we could be looking at a drop to 217.82 and possibly even 212.50 - 213.00 area before it resumes the uptrend.

This is my longer term outlook and of course there are opportunities for longs and shorts on the way.

Can someone tell me how to set the VT charts to show ask price along with bid price?

I would be sentenced to work a day job during GBP/JPY's 200 pip move after hours of consolidation.......... Hopefully interest rates set things up for pip taking later this evening when I get off. No use crying over spilt soup, but I could have earned twice the money in half the time if only I had skipped work and traded....

Moral of the story: Day jobs suck
