At the bottom of the screen, what is your Margin Level?

I think Margin Level is Equity/Margin Required.

If your Margin Level is < 100%, I don't think you can place any more trades.

You will have to check with Darwinex at what % they start closing trades/margin call.

otherwise they will not be displayed.....h

My new Darwin was created today. Reducing the number of markets from 5 to 3 and decreasing the position size per order from 0.25% to 0.20% has given me a current risk factor of x1.35 as compared to x0.50 with my previous Darwin.

Return (since inception): 0.03%
Max. drawdown: -3.38%

Unfortunately, my old Darwin seems to be lost, and I'm starting from scratch. Therefore, I'd like to remind you to make sure you always pay your DarwinexZero subscription on time. Even a short delay seems to be enough for it to be deleted and not recoverable.

Let's see how December ends. Funny, I just got an email saying I could save 10% if I buy boosters within the next 7 days, but I don't plan on doing that right now. First, I'll see how the next two months go.

hey imc..... saw your note, please let me reply here...... it's easier.....

keep in mind, trade explorers and metatrader reports can be very misleading..... that includes mine.....

as for topics and forums to focus on, i am without a doubt the worst person to ask......

i am unbelievably selective about what i allow to enter my mind..... negativity even the slightest is something i avoid all costs..... even a single post or word is enough for me to never go back.....

so nothing comes to mind to recommended, but i promise to give it more thought......

as for trading systems, my approach is different...... it's more common sense than anything else...... but involves many indicators..... and life cycles......

if the indicators are moving up, my tendency is to buy more than sell...... if they are moving down, my tendency is to sell more than buy......

there is a fairly predictable life cycle of all signals....... such as, on average the alma and hull ma's might signal buy a certain number of bars before they signal sell.....

that's my entire focus...... learning the average length of every signal of every indicator on every timeframe on every symbol....... this helps reduce the fear/greed troubles.....

you can also learn which indicator alerts of signal change the quickest...... which is most reliable...... which is the latest...... and so on......

so you see, it's just common sense...... go with the flow and avoid at all cost negativity....

and learn to code mq5.......h

Just canceled my Darwinex Zero subscription.

I started at the worst possible time, suffered a -5% drawdown in December. The maximum drawdown ncreased to 8%. Another 45 euros down the drain... The only good thing was a positive risk factor after the changes to my strategy, but yes, that naturally also increases the drawdown. Now I need to figure out if and how I can continue trading at all. I'm not getting anywhere with this.

The FTMO Challenge is still running (same strategy). Currently slightly up again at +1.4% with a -5.7% drawdown since the start in early December but will take a long time to reach my profit target (if at all). I would have to take on significantly more risk per trade, which would then immediately knock me out again during such a long drawdown phase as the recent one or increase my risk/reward drastic, which also seems unrealistic with this strategy (only intraday). On the plus side, there's no time pressure and no monthly costs like with futures providers, but of course, that doesn't really help either.

in the trading world, it's hard for me to see the harm in taking a loss on a trade that it not working out..... the same could be said for darwin itself.....

8% or higher drawdown is probably quite common...... i would consider it expected....... many of those high profile darwins have more than that...... at first glance it might appear a negative, in some cases it might be a positive.....

darwin can work, even with out being a gold status...... apex does also......or at least for me......

you once described my manner of trading as technical and complex....... and it is.....

some people do quite well using a simple approach......h

My DarwinexZero account has 1:200 leverage and 1:20 margin. Considering margin call and stop out, how much % drop in equity I will survive?

i have 6 darwin accounts that are paying....... the oldest is little over 4 months with youngest just 5 weeks.......

it's only 8 days into it, but january will be my worst darwin month so far...... without a doubt.....

the simple reason is, you have to produce before you can consume.......

i don't think any account has had a single losing month...... but it takes more than that.....

with that in mind, february should be my best month so far......h

that is something i never consider so not sure of the answer.......

if you keep your margin level % greater than 1000%, you should be ok...... somewhere in the 4 digit range.......

it seems best for me to trade the smallest contract size available......

on a 100k static apex account, i use 1 micro......

on a 100k standard apex account i use 1 micro.....

even on a 300k apex account, i use 1 micro......

a single micro can make a pretty good bit per day......h
