Orderflow & Footprint Analysis: A Trader's Journey

I believe I do break it down, piece by piece in here

I send step by step with screenshots how I see the charts.

I personal use it with forex and future trading so you just open a mt4 platform and excited on there.

Future and forex is like 99 % the same, but you have to analyse in future price charts because it's where the institution officially orders show up and is most transparent.

About footprint and volume etc...every asset works different, I see these footprint charts in forex very clear but on ES and NQ you see totally different orderflow and footprint.

I also trade NQ but I use volume profile on POC but this don't work on FX pairs they get to much violated but on gold and NQ they work perfect.

If you wanna backtest , you need a orderflow platform..

The options you have in here is :
Sierra charts
Atas
Quantower
Deepcharts

You have much more but I think these 4 options are one of the better ones ...

There not for free you have the cost of the platform first of all and then you have the cost of the data

This is professional trading don't think you get this for free..

You have cheap options like gocharting but I personal did not like it , because the data of the footprint I received did not match with my other 3 platforms.

Maybe you don't have to care if it works and you can make money with it..

USDJPY Setup

Step 1:
First, I mark my POIs on the higher time frame (HTF) and set alerts on my zones.
This time, price has reached a supply level.


step 2:

Additionally, I look for SMT and a BOS from this SMT zone.


step 3:

If this is confirmed, I want price to return to around the 50% level of my zone and set a alert.


Step 4
Price hit my alert, so I opened my order flow platform to look for signals.




I always wanna have 2 delta divergence confirmations , and 3th candle would be my entry candle that give volume or aggressive delta

This type of footprint orderflow on seller on top of the bid with a bearish candle i found this very strong pattern, i dont have a real source only my own experience that it happen very rare, but its a strong signal.

When aggressive sellers dominate at the top of a sell candle (a bearish candle), order flow analysis reveals significant market sell orders hitting the bid, absorbing strong passive buy orders, creating a "stopping volume" or "absorption" pattern, often seen on footprint charts with high negative delta and large sell volume at the top, indicating potential selling conviction and resistance, even if price temporarily stalls or reverses quickly.


After all the analyses i open a trade on mt4 platform and on a future platform and trade 6j or m6j

I'm really happy to see someone who works like me.
I use Microstructure of Convergences, Divergences, Compressions, Explosions. The tutorial analyzes the various tick behaviors and I guarantee excellent results.
I use AI, which I've managed to make work very well for me. I've done more than 50xx Experts with it, using different strategies. This is the latest update.

And in fact, I was wondering, is it very strange that no one uses this system? Of course, with Quantower NT or Jforex, it's definitely better, but even if you're satisfied, you get good results.

Hey guys. glad to find someone here who uses the same kind of tools as i do. I also use sierra charts, market and volume profile. Not too much on orderflow/footprint since i scalp for 10 pips here and there. Would like to connect and share ideas and expand my learning from you guys!

I recommend you go with AI; it's can help you find literature on the topic
and much more for you. ,, make experts and indicators with strange things and in all languages
I recommend microstructures.
