The sell-limit order was placed just above the last Daily High, when price made a significant, dynamic downward price move. I assumed that a lot of SL’s were placed above this high... I put few pips SL, and as it turns out, I was quite lucky because the price behaved as I expected…

Who took the bait

Saw a little bit of upwards momentum off of divergence so I took the trade and IMO it was an unnecessary risky trade, trading so close to news I would have been stopped out had I not kept my target at +5, statistics played in my favor this time.

Going to play a bit of black ops and wait until I get new low alerts on my phone

Currently there is no set up, I'm going to need to see price go up a bit then come back down to make another LL, if that happens there will be another trade opportunity because we will see a divergence set up

So maybe I need to put on my big boy pants and start trying to really get some pips

So if I can successfully find divergence on the 30min timeframe achieving 25pips a trade should be easily doable

made this trade around 9pm EST and closed it out for a profit but I didn’t ride it up 20 pips, it would have easily ran through that. I’ve been taking a peek at a thread made by RAGS2RICHESFX and he has an interesting look at RR

So, I blew through half my account yesterday and I sat up all day and early this morning trying to figure out how I messed up so bad. I'm headed to the gym right now so I will explain around noon EST. I have been reading a thread here on FF and it's quite clear that I'm at the edge of my breakthrough and 1st QT of this year I should be well on my way. I just posted here so I can hold myself accountable because I'm going to post all the trades on the chart that i made, I just downloaded MT5, so I was able to get a knock over the head. Why TF am I spending time on the 1min or 5min when I can trade the 15min and 1hr timeframe using the 5min for my entry. I think I have been acting like a short-term trader when in reality I have been watching the 30min and 1hr timeframes. Why haven't I waited for candles to close on the 30min and 1hr timeframe before entering the market?

When I start making a killing, I'm literally going to look back at this foolishness, I can't even stress to you guys how idiotic I feel right now I'm so disgusted with myself, how can I continue to be so dumb and treat my hard-earned money like monopoly money. Well, I'll just post it now since I wrote this much, I really can't believe I keep making these same mistakes, I promise I'm not insane LMAO, how about I try this for once, make a trade with a 20pip loss at where I think is a bottom and attempt to get around the same or more in pip, but here is the key, I have to make the trade and wait for an alert, profit hit or stop out. There is no such thing as not experiencing any drawdown, so I have to stop thinking because I go down 6 pips it's time to close the trade, I need to give myself a bit of wiggle room that's why you can't make a trade and sit and hawk it because then you make emotional trades.

If I can manage to stop being an idiot in real-time and make better decisions and not hawk the market, I would be making so much money so it's time to lock in and stop playing, I don't even care about the money that I lose so the fact that I sit and watch it constantly is dumb ASF

So essentially it makes more sense to trade EURUSD
