Looking to next week.... a run to 7000 looks like a heavy lift but I'd say it needs to happen next week b4 the holiday doldrums set in

we should be in solid Santa rally mode, but I will throw a grand at some put spreads anyway...

A risk free trade. No sweat the vol crush @ calendars as the iv's go <9%...there's an iv floor somewhere around 7-8%.


Anyway, if you hold til 12/22, the remaining long calls of the calendar defeat the bear call spread.

add bull puts for the IC and the put cldr works better

Man, what an ugly week. Whipsawed out of good profit & finished at b/e. A smorgasbord of poor execution. Closed trades too early, held others too long, etc. Oh well, that's what the whipsaw will do to you. We'll see if things settle down to close out the year. I've got travel all next week & may not trade again til 2026. I may abandon all forum threads in 2026 in lieu of a commercial one. Not sure if that'll be worthwhile or not. Anyway, Peace ya'll, TF out.

Cboe Global Markets launched the new Cboe Magnificent 10 Index (ticker: MGTN) on October 14, 2025. The index measures the price return of 10 large-cap U.S.-listed technology and growth-oriented companies.

1. Tradable Products: Cboe plans to launch cash-settled futures and options on the MGTN index, with futures and monthly options trading beginning on December 8, 2025.
2. Constituents: The index includes the seven "Magnificent 7" stocks plus three additions:
   1. Alphabet (Google)
   2. Amazon
   3. Apple
   4. Meta (Facebook)
   5. Microsoft
   6. Nvidia
   7. Tesla
   8. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
   9. Broadcom
   10. Palantir Technologies

3. Purpose: The new products aim to offer investors a capital-efficient way to gain targeted exposure to a concentrated basket of high-demand AI technology-focused stocks.
