watch 4343 guys, if the spot price > than future price in which is 4343. the storm might be over... but thats for me

When I thought $50 drop is almost killing me, thank god it retrace back for me to TP from average shorts. If I hold out and not TP, it should blow my account.

do you guys think the massacre will continue ?

Hi all,

From the £17k I lost trading this last week, I’ve managed to make over half of that back from today’s trade. Shorted from 4540 and closed a few moments ago. Taking no more trades today and won’t be risking as much going forward.

I’m sorry to those who have had their accounts blown today but don’t lose hope. It’s all part of the lesson process and Gold is so unforgiving and can destroy you so your risk management has to be on point. Sometimes technicals or even fundamentals don’t even apply to Gold so it’s riskier to trade than most instruments.

Another day will surely present a better opportunity and at times like today, it’s often best to just be on the sidelines and observe. Good luck to all and keep your heads up high.

3 accounts, that's rough mate.

- Use a stop loss (SL), and respect the SL you have set, don't move it further when price is almost there and rely on hope. Just accept defeat and wait for a next opportunity.
- Use smaller lot sizes.
- When your SL is hit, don't double down to get your money back. Accept defeat and lower your lot size the next time.
- When 0.01 or whatever small lot size means nothing to you and you and the capital and risk tolerance, you might just sit through and wait for it to come back, but that's not recommended at all. Probably best to avoid that approuch unless you know what you're doing and want to work on expanding your risk tolerance in this emotional game.

STOP trading and go study!
Look for a mentor , Youtube, etc and learn from them , practice practice and practice before attempting any more accounts.

dont even know why people blow account, im still got good with my 10k$ account, plenty of SL hit 0.0 still got a nice +200 GBP (it not USD account) im full buy today, lol. Some entry do 400pips + but im not take profit (got greedy) then return to SL. Full buy in a big red day still good...
Couldnt say it is a big bloom day for my account but not losing anything = good with me

Thanks buddy. I was never using things like SL, BE etc in the past and I would rather just pray and hope but now I understand how crucial they are when it comes to capital protection. Definitely big lesson learnt
