Europe is completely lost; the last remnants of morality can be found in the Eastern Bloc, which was later annexed by Europe. But even there, the Nazis from Brussels are pushing in. Even Ukrainians no longer want to be meat in the Brussels mill. The only ones who still want war are Brussels, because politicians can steal and cheat their citizens beautifully.

I think this is polite way to say that in your opinion I don't know what I am talking about. Ok! I take that if this is what you mean as I am not an expert. But again I use the same internet as a research platform like you do unless you have access to another knowledge resources. And that explains why sharing and transferring of knowledge is so important.

Joke aside it's funny how people avoid sharing and transferring knowledge at work where they get paid for applying their knowledge and at the same time they share knowledge (all they know and can) for free in forums of any kind.

I'm always perplexed at adjectives being used to describe a currency. The article merely provides a summary of the aggregate of currencies being held by international central banks.

That the US dollar is the world's reserve currency is a historical artifact of the Bretton Woods agreement. Other countries' currencies would be pegged to the USD. That's all.

The USD would be pegged to gold at $35 per oz.

Totally circular.

edit - the comment above was posted as I was thinking and writing this. The USD is "king". What does that mean in reality and why? Research required.

I would be seeking analysis that is rather more substantive than procedural.

Most used/traded and characteristics - not reasons - of most used/traded. Like liquidity. Nah. That is circular as liquidity begets liquidity. That is what we see. A good start, but I'm looking for more.

Why did you introduce the strongest? That is meaningless. What is strongest, 1/x or x/1? That, by the way, also voids the volatility characteristic.

The Fool touched on perhaps a couple things in another thread today Status of US dollar as Global Reserve currency in response to a Wolf Street rant, which still offers up the same old stuff but perhaps with a bit more meat. I only saw it now. My bad. Oh well.

I mentioned "strongest" just because I guess (just guess) many of us inter-confuse most appreciated, most used, most traded and strongest. Just wanted to clarify that most appreciated, most used and most traded doesn't necessarily mean strongest.
