so it didnt fill the wick , and would have hit sl if you just walked away , but i think only a fool would not have closed , had loads of time to get out in profit and the majority of the wick was filled , and the 15m was a great clue

Given that this strategy can be completely objectified (i.e., rigid rules can be applied to it) and I had some time, I created a multi-instrument/multi-timeframe dashboard for it, just for fun. Just re-read the first post and basically any candle could qualify as absolutely no filter is provided apart from Doji candle to be avoided.
How many pairs could anyone possibly monitor on a 15-minute chart, and yet he has provided "proof" 6.5% gains.
Let's wait and see how it goes, I'm all for winners!

Of course, the above three parameters may need to be expanded with additional ones. For example, the question is whether we should take this constellation as a signal (here, the price immediately went up and only then came down—the above three criteria are now met, but the wick had already saturated beforehand).
Update:
I have solved this too: it is possible to limit the extent of the overshoot (i.e., the maximum permissible difference between the closing price of the previous candle and the high (bullish signal) or low (bearish signal) price of the current candle).
