If I was a trader outside of the U.S. and Canada (both cant use td365) Mexico yes
But this is the only CFD broker I would use and for that very reasonsmall fixed spreads and zero commissions... The ability to swing trade without large futures maintenance requirements is also a plus IMO.
As far as im concerned they are the absolute best going ,,, and the only cfd broker I would go with
So in a nutshell TOm trades with them for
1)fixed spreads
2)zero commish
3)leverage
4)ability to swing large contract size with lower carrying costs.
5)guaranteed SL

I agree Toms material is very much in tune to this thread... His SRS (school run strategy) and several others are all fixed time(bar) based
methods. WHich he has tested extensively and published scads of charts with them and real results.

Hi friends, thought I should just drop by and share my progress with you all. I have been complacent in my trades recently, so I would like to share my trades to receive helpful feedback.
I don't trade every day, even though I should. I prefer using higher timeframes for my entries (15 min - 1 hour) for my entries. I am a risk taker, but I also like to push my trade to be at break even as soon as possible. I will usually have a tight stop-loss to manage this risk, and I am okay with that.
This was my trade on ES on today's open. I took the entry on the 15-minute bar from the close of the 8:30 AM bar to the open of the 8:45 AM bar (9:30 - 9:45 AM NY time). I will usually have my target at 1% risk and a 3.25% TP. However, I always aim to have my stop tighter to lower my risk and hit BE asap.
For reference, I took the trade based on the breakout of the previous candle low. Had the same bar broken above the previous bar high, I would have gone long.
The green bar is the current day open, the red line is the previous day close, and the purple lines are the previous week's high and low.

Hi Vidvad, to answer your question I have two setups. My first setup being as you said, is an M15 ORB. My second setup is something I am personally testing, which is a rejection of a pivot zone. The trade above is a long setup for me; a bearish rejection candle is a bearish candle with a wick at the bottom. I will usually Market buy/sell before the candle closes during a rejection. My risk will always be a 1% risk and never above that point; however, I like to keep my SL below 1% if possible, which is what I did here. I placed my stop below the lows of that pivot and kept my TP at 3.25 %. My starting position will always be a 40 tick stop loss and a 130 tick take profit.
For reference, anytime I use a position tool, it will be manually set to a 1:1 ratio purely for me, since I always go break even at the 1% mark on my position.
