I was planning to go short on the pair right now (GBPJPY) but can't really find a perfect entry so I am just watching move further down, how would you enter. Not that I need to be spoon fed but I just want to see how you would handle my situation and working on my demo account so please feel free if you have any ideas.

going short seems wise.
but again trade at your own risk.

I don't think you would choose to enter at all at the moment, unless you had a very strong view on the fundamental situation and were planning to go for a long time period trade.

It seems to be range bound and undecided at the moment. I think the best bet is to stay out.. wait for a clear break out either up or down and then enter the market when that break is clearly confirmed..

The small guys have to act a bit like hyenas... let the big lions decide and then we jump in and pick up the remains when the battle is over..

or something.. The best advice i think is "no trade" at the moment.. and if someone else knows better then I hope they tell me about it.. cos i really want to make up some of those pips i lost this morning when technically i thought it was going up and it went down.. blah.

not really. its moving back n forth about 80 pips perfect for scalpers. but im too lazy. just grabbed about 15+ and now im here, waiting for 227 to breakout, bringing some good pips hopefully. its been in rangebound for last i don't know how many hours. crap-poo!

Alright, part of this is my gut feeling and the other part is how well it bounced off the 72 SMA earlier.... I'm thinking once it touches the 72 SMA we may see a breakout south. I could be completely wrong, but that's my prediction if anything.
