I don't know how I'm going to overcome this problem. My analysis is correct and everything is going according to plan, but I hesitate and close early. It's frustrating.
Any advice?

Take it slowly my friend. You just need more time to expose yourself to screen time and understand how price moves. Trading is like learning to read back in grade school ,,, you start in Grade 1, then Grade 2, and you gradually improve as you go. Just keep watching learning and growing

Update: Asia high held with buyers, shifting the battle back inside 4200. Longs on the touch failed to execute cleanly. I’ll keep tracking, but don’t expect much after London close.

i hope all is well with you guys hopefully most of you are avoiding loss. for me that is the important thing. profit is secondary.
anyways
we are back in GOLD
now lets analyze.
powel qill have to cut the rate,
but that is not what investors will be looking for they are mostly interested in 2026 tricky situation US economy is in.
so for me that will be where i will focus,
but if that is hawkish cut or even the same tone as always
the data dependent FED.
that trust me will bring the gold down.

so for now i will wait for the gold to make a high hopefully 4240-50 to sell.
buying is still not an option for me.
i do buy to be honest short term when i see its over sold.
but the Fundamentals, is not helping the gold to be honest.

in reality the traders do what they want to do and they will find a reason for that.
technicals an article etc what ever.

just like me always on sell, but wait for the high.
because to me traders i know personally have made profit on both sides.
even buying low and make money,
but what i learned is that do what ever works for you.

the goal here is to make money.

but i always prefer risk management so i will again wait for 2440 hopefully a little high then i will start selling.
until then gold is in range and range trading can be good if you are trading for few $ here and there.

and no offense but no matter what retail traders think, they will always trade, no matter where the market is.
so where that leave us.
i just want to say if i were you and i am buying i will be trading carefully, and with low leverage, so if i loose it will not effect my next trade.

at the point where you want to close "early" just move your sl to 1/3 of the trade's current value. Mitigates retrace risk and gives room to breathe
