as you can see from my today, I have 4 left sell order taking hedging start from asia and london, now NY will open soon I know he will hit my transaction as many banks are doing hedging also they are trying to clear there book, so I need to go as well.

if NY session takes price up, will you buy 4 x 0.05 lots to hedge the current sell positions ?

Don't trade gold, it is one of the hardest if not the hardest instrument to trade atm due to extreme volatility, common structure breaks and overall stop loss hunt or other shenanigans. Try something more chilly like currencies. Gold also loves to move massively while noone's around and is overall lately very frustrating.

From what i understand is this strategy: (correct me if i'm wrong)

1) I buy and Sell at sametime at any price
Let say you buy and sell @ 4200 (1lot both)
Price fell to 4195,
Buy: -$500
Sell: +$500
Net: -$commission

2) a. any positive on that 2 order will go let say 50+pips (no preference)
You take Realised profit of the Sell @4195 for ~$495 (assuming $5/lot commission)

b. Ill take it, and put another hedge buy & sell again
@4195
Buy: 1lot
Sell 1lot

3) youll have a Drawdown (on one side its either buy side or sell side).
Your unrealised loss still at -$500 (holding the buy @4200).

4)NY will do the retrace mostly NY will go from Higher of the Day and goes Low of the Day, so all you order will be gone out in Green
Your strategy assuming that in NY Session, price will retrace back to $4200 and may be move to $4210?

SO at $4195, you buy and sell another one lot.

Total opened position:
Buy @4200: -$500
Buy @4195: +0
Sell @ 4195:+0

Now let assume, price actually move to 4210 in NY session.

Buy @ 4200: +1000
Buy @4195: +1500
Sell @4195: -1500

Net:
Sell @4200 close @4195 = +$495
Buy @4195 close @4210 = +$1495
Sell @4195 close @4210 = -$1495
Buy @4200 close @4210 = +$995

Net figure = $495 + $995
(profit made with buy/sell made only @4200)

Now you win because your strategy project that in NY price will retrace
A ranging market

If it trending we will stuck with losing position trailing on the wrong side, and then waiting DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS for price to return to entry price before closing. Because closing that unrealised losses simply eat lot of portion in your equity.

In that period of time, if your lot is quite big, let say a 0.1lot, even a 10k account will not be enough to sustain that drawdown.
Your broker will call you to either take the losses or add margin.
No more engagement as from today.

May I ask why? It doesn't make any sense apart from getting a trading volume on your account. Also a small advice (if you use metatrader), use "close by" function to save on commission when having two opposite trades on the same instrument.

yea your right.. this is what im tryting to say only i never use 1 lot as I was thinking drawdown as well. 0.05 or 0.1 will do it give mne good profit everyday, also I never allow any carry on trade to next day. I close it always on Frankfurt or before london close. so I never try to carry. if the trend market comes, you will see also buy your drawdown, let say asian no retracement and london didint retrace, thats a clue for me that specific day market is in trend, soi I need to close all my drawdown, and make order to whatever the price will go. of course before I decide, I need to know where the real trendline will go
