i was wrong about that...... it appears the pay dates can move slightly even if the weekends are not involved...... so the 5th might not be guaranteed.....

perhaps a minor detail, but couple of mine have moved a day or 2.....

no harm in that.....h

My Darwinexzero account has 7.500 USD maximum drawdown. It is a grid martingale. Should I decrease the lot size? I had 50 exposure a few weeks ago. If I decrease the lot size, will Darwinex engine adjust and increase to most optimum lot? Do you advise me to decrease the lot size? Will I recover in a short time and when will Darwinexzero adjust to new risk? My account is: https://www.darwinexzero.com/darwin/MUQP/performance

The maximum drawdown is lower than the % mentioned in the account link. After April, I decreased the lots 40%.

hey deroty.... really not sure if decreasing the lot size would help........ adjusting your original entry point might.....

is there a reason your trading those 3 pairs...... spread and liquidity would seem a problem.....

the max drawdown value at the top is referring to picture with red drawings.....

the max drawdown value on the right is referring to the picture with yellow drawings..... it looks at past 6 months or so.....

if you check those dates and quotes, they should be correct.....

don't plan on your risk multiplier being adjusted quickly no mater what you do.....

when you see risk multiplier slowly falling, look for something to change then......

it's trying to tell you something.....h

Thank you Hayseed!... My strategy is arranged for AUDCAD, NZDCAD, AUDNZD. But I will consider your suggestions.

My suggestion BEFORE you do anything else.......stop Grid/Martingale for two resons......
#1. It doesn't work
#2. Darwinex hates it ( because it doesn't work)
Not to be confused with averaging in/out, which I do all of the time....it is controlled and risk is built in.
Before the comments come pouring in, it can work....maybe today, maybe for a week, maybe even several months, but, eventually it will blow up.....unless you have predetermined max loss in place.

It is a grid martingale - but it works for 7 years. I guess you are right. But I will try my luck. I know you have good intentions. But I will risk that.

hey, i see you are using grid and have great success for past 7 years. I dont think you need to change any of your setting. im sure you will reach HWM again.

darwin for some reason is getting faster on payouts.......

as a rule, if the pay date is the 10th, it's has always been the 11th before it was made available..... it's not something i'm sitting here waiting on...... usually i leave about half in any way...... like a savings account.....

depending on hour of the day you request the payout, it can be in your bank account the next day...... hour of day as in london time......

just noticed darwin has already moved the money today..... not sure what time they did it, but for sure it's maybe 8 hours early......

must be the christmas spirit.....h

I got paid in 2 hours on December 2............it was an account that had already had a payout so had been verified already.
Had an account pay on December 1 also, but had to do the verification on that one....it paid the same time next day on Dec 2.

With a $7,500 drawdown on a grid martingale, lowering your lot size is safer.

Does your Risk Ratio go back to normal after 45 days if you have a big drawdown? Might be worth investigating this because if you time it right, it might be worth buying a 3-month booster. Surely someone on Discord would have tried something like that.

Should you Decrease your lot size? That is an interesting one because the Risk Engine has 2 periods that it looks at. The first period is the 45-day cycle and the second is the 6-month cycle. So, if there is an abnormality in the 45-day cycle, it will look at what you did in the 6-month cycle, but I think that's only for small abnormalities. Would changing your lot size confuse the Risk Engine? That's a tough one.

The thing you need to watch is the signal account risk management graph under Strategy Analysis. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong and you might need to observe to get a feel for it, but I think if your Max Var/Min Var > 100%, the Risk Engine starts showing its authority (it might be sooner). I think on your graph around September/October, you had a Max Var of 9.66% and a Min Var of 2.66%. So 9.66/2.66 = 363% change in Var. Kieran usually talks about it on his streams, and I think he generally recommends keeping it under 100%. I'm not sure too many people listen to what he says when he talks about this. Most people think 9.66%-2.66% = 7% change in Var. Next time you see all those top 100 people in silver/gold, have a look at how many have a 1 month max. variation < 100%. You will be surprised. I believe it is the most important statistic in the whole of DarwinIA. Kieran's is just under 50% and that is why he is where he is.

I have no problem with VAR as long as it adjusts the proper lot size eventually it is fitting. One of the problem is before VAR (In My Metatrader account) --- with my situation, will I hit margin call, before it reaches to VAR? Attached is my margin and leverage. What do you advise according to leverage and margin?
