New to trading here. I’ve been on a demo account for a couple of months and have been reasonably profitable. I came across this thread and thought it could be useful.

I’m planning to mainly trade XAU/USD. I’m just wondering where the most trusted and best places are to get funded accounts, and if anyone has tips to help me on my journey to becoming a full-time day trader. I’m from New Zealand, but I’m fine with staying up late for the London/New York crossover if that’s the best time to trade.

Ny play perfect...
Is strange to see why people stay surprise with this bearish spike...
You all had many confluences at that zone.
I mention 4257 as target for yesterday Ny correlated with daily, also said expect Asia breakout beeing tested and it wasn't at that time, not necessary need but still a confluence as the probabilities are very high... The reason why i said to be caution is that this level tipical test Ny breakout too.
Now let's look for some of you like to call average daily range... Anyone think that is normal be the same zone as 4257?? Or be Asia extended target at 4256.650?
We can be right most of the times, but never ignore what can stop price... Partials is a tool.
We were making HH in all TF's since yesterday, but price will stop at some point.
And no, i didn't buy, in fact i sell it...
But now looking to price the only barrier i see, doesn't mean there are no other is 4191.545, there are others below related to Ny, but this is related to the same pattern that make me insist first on 4237...
If you guys make 1 trade a day will not ask about this shifts because in fact you will not care... The truth is that happen all days.

EDIT: 4199.075 was the hypothetical stop that if i didn't use confluences had been stoped out... Just by the fact Ny break against. I repeat and repeat Ny weight, is not hard do loose a couple of minutes to study charts to see how importance it have on gold.

Better ask your question(s) again during the week (London or New York sessions), as most of the traders have now left for the weekend already.
Unfortunately I myself can't help you, as I'm a newbie too.

One more confluence this year Monday after beeing breakout in December the opposite side was protected about 87% of the time, i believe i start saying this fact we were in 80%... And did it several times.
Ny breaking bearish and if they playout 4174.140 is what they are aiming extended at 4131.540 ( also a high of week).
The extended target at 4131 is a high of two weeks ago, but another important fact is that we don't need to go there either, we already did 50% of it.
But having this in equation is equal one more day not beeing bias and follow sessions, we are not trending and in my personal view Monday is the key every single week.

Losses are part of trading, but they are never random. Each one carries a reason, a detail, a lesson. To accept a loss and move on without reflection is not discipline. It is neglect.

Trading is a probability game, but probability does not excuse carelessness. Every loss reveals something that could have been avoided or improved. Ignoring that truth is laziness.

Today I made mistakes executing the long above the open price, both psychological and technical. I dislike seeing people copy trades, mine or others, because wins and losses are just numbers. The real value is in the lessons behind them. Those lessons, whether from a win or a loss, make you a better trader.

The path forward is accountability. Study your losses, refine your craft, and let each mistake sharpen your edge. That is how discipline is built, and that is how legacy is earned.

Exactly, I even took a stop loss at that peak, believing it would go further, but it's important to keep an eye on the premium and discount zones, in addition to the retested peak. Indeed my friend, no mistakes means no growth. Every setback sharpens us, every loss teaches us something the wins never will. What matters is we showed up, we analyzed, and we learned.

Other pairs comparison vs Gold ( after happen...but fiorming start early monday.)

Divergence confirm on H4 after monday close.
Very clear on AUD, EURO....difficult to see at GBP and USD ( most difficult)

Is why tursday NY plan for Short but loss...

Price rejected the 4240-4260 zone several times. There is a possibility of a big reversal next week. Aim towards zone 4024.
