Looks like RUT setting up for buy rumor/sell news on the Dec FOMC. Can you imagine what would happen if they actually do not cut? Or, if there is a lot of dissent and hawkish sentiment that creeps into the press? Or, there's a hawkish dot plot?

the SPX combo for the week. I will be tweaking, adding and rolling. I want no death valley and no dangerous tails.

Idk diddly about crypto, really. To me, it's just an inscrutable risk asset. Digital gold but not "good as gold." Anyway, if we get a Santa rally, we could see a healthy reversal in BTC, and MSTR is a proxy for BTC that has liquid options. I will buy some lotto tix as shown. Jan 2 $100 wide fly risks ~$700 to make > $30k.

How are the options on MSTU, that's the 2 times MSTR etf...asking for a friend...

today's hi-lo is making money & will do >$100 net if SPX can grind up over 6850

SPX frozen ahead of the Dec FOMC, considering rolling all of this weeks trades (all underwater) to next Friday. I lean bearish for next week.

For Friday. I need the shit to move. A run above 6900 would do it for the calls.

For the puts, much more of a long shot - I'd need drop to 6775 or lower and for it to stay there until near the close

not getting what I need from SPX. Six days of sideways action screwed me. I had big wins in NDX that will save the week, but SPX looking like shit. 4 hrs to go but I'd bet we've seen the days high at 6896. All the put spreads closed at loss, except the 6870/6850/6830 put fly, which I may hold into the last hour. Shit volume in the middle 6 hrs of the session. trying to hold flys and time spreads into the last day is always dicey...

I took $3 for the small fly, the big one a total loss. Pity, because it was worth $6-7 early and I let it ride. Altogether an annoying and painful week, my bacon saved by some $25 NDX fly winners.

I expect things to freeze up before the fed, but not 8 days of diddly squat.

So, now, of course, a minute after I cash out the put fly, it breaks down towards the guts. fml...

SPX range for the week is 96. Pitiful... I will wait til Monday to put something on for post FOMC. Could be the "hawkish cut" makes the indices break down. Which would be a gift for ensuing Santa rally.

the last 15 minutes or so on a Friday (or maybe any day) I'd guess is nearly 100% options driven, lots of MM gamma scalping and 0dte positions closing. I know this but did not have the patience to hang in. Best approach is to have enough numbers in a position so you can close some out early and leave some token few to run to the close.

RUT call fly flirting with a perfect finish for Friday, but I took some off @ 3x today.

will be a good week if SPX tries to pin 6900 Friday. It's sitting right there atm, so I am taking 1/2 off @ the call flys for $5.80 - a $3.30 net winner. I took the Dec 11 fly off yesterday for $11, a shy double.

Took off 1 of 4, will try for glory Friday.... If I see it go over $6 today, I'll take one more. They might run it up past 6920 Friday for a new ath
