A small one.. I never did a larger one. I don't have a pool anymore to warm. If I build another home I will include it, and a ac with a ground cooled condenser system. I like to experiment.
If you build one. You may want to mix the sand with graphite. It conducts better. Power and the granules.

pa sits at 1636 atm. that's 30 pips from 1606. The day attraction to 1606 is not looking strong with 35 minutes to go. Even if it don't pull it now. The 1602/06 area may still support later.

If you have ever picked up a garden hose sitting in the sun. You already know the 50' or 100' of hose is a hot shower. Its too hot to shower with. after sitting in the sun for an hour. If you do the same with a copper coil in sand. Sand that's been charging in the sun for several hours during the day. You can get all the hot water you need in a home. The temperate of the sand will be much hotter than a hose. Hot enough to make steam using a solar panel charging (heating the sand) all day.

Copper coil = conductor with reach. Sand = insulator + capacitator. The copper coil being a rod? thus having a surface to absorb sun heat from(half a circle) and a surface that the gives off heat into the sand(the other half of the circle).
Then solar panel with copper coils connected to a capacitator in the sand? so active electric +passive thermal heating of sand.

How about heating the copper rod with a fire, and leading the copper rod into the sand/ground?
Could be good for setting up floor-heating if one camps in the woods?

Did you run water through it?

Good call on the graphite, makes good sense. I guess it's easily attainable when making a setup. Before i thought mostly about metals, but it's good to think of something more easily attainable from the environment and proably can make greater volume than if it only were normal sand.

How about AC? was that related to the Peltier device?

No. I never adding added a closed loop. You could do a basic floor warming system if you had the loop in your floors.. You can also do it outdoors on a patio. My unlimited well water is about 72 degrees here. I can heat or cool with it. I wanted to build an outdoor pizza oven with the sand battery as a brick lower structure. And just build the normal doomed top. Add a door and let it stay hot year round. In the winter it would be a place to gather for warmth. It would suck in the summer to be around. But always a place to be able to bake.

You can eliminate the condenser fan, and the power it burns. With a thermal coils and a small pump. In my area the liquid return drops about 35 degrees (over just the fan you remove, that's much better). So you can also have a smaller unit to cool the same space. Since the liquid temp is lower. It has a greater evaporator temp transfer. It makes the unit run less and remove more moisture. On this loop system add add sand and graphite to the loop to transfer heat into the ground. The deeper the better. But at some point it don't matter verse cost. 5 or 6 ft may be enough. Its just up to you.. research it. The loop liquid cools or heats the liquid in the heat pumps loop. The loop liquid in the the ground system should be clean, use distilled water. Maybe some antifreeze to protect it in the winter. Distilled water to prevent scale.

You don't want 1606 to become R if long.. You want it to support if long. Or vice versa if short

I would hope to take +1628 this hour. But + 1606 may be all I get. -1606 may give the bears a chance to test 1591x.

I have a gut feeling if this next hour was to close above 1628.2 it would be bullish. If its not going to. 1506 support may be in trouble.
That may be opposite when pa is above 1628.2 during this month.

Sustained below 1591 may be a bear b/o. The 12h did close above 1606.. The bull side.. So it may just be poking 1591 and not sustaining below..

1584/85 has some support. It may bounce back to 1628 from there. S/l could be used in that ratio. +1628 could be a larger bull if it supports. The reject wick on a dip into 1591 is an option. But since hitting the week 20 sma it has fallen. it may need to hit the day 20 sma to rise 1571ish

If deeper 1670.x.. area. I think it will return to bullish. But under 1628 and 1606 its under that bullish security

I think its bullish, but thought it may poke below 1606 a little deeper. If its bullish like I think. I don't think it will go too far below 1606.. 1570 may be too far.
I target 1737 for the year end or more. The trajectory lines have it on schedule.
