Remember this folks..This is why after I sold Gold many times at and near to 4160s in previous days, I exited my last trade of 4168 after it broke up to 4190s, at the retrace down to 4160s. And my next target is around 4250. But since that mainly won't happen until next week, I'll wait for the new daily/weekly/monthly candles to more accurately analyze Gold charts on Monday open...

Regarding GU/EU and DXY just remember that the market of London session didn't yet test today's lows and highs that have been recorded in previous sessions...Trade wisely

Update
So gold decided to make a consolidation move for 4 months and then broke the ATH to print new ATH at 4380. So now what next?. 5000 ...yeah even 10000 but not that easy. Too early to call 5k. I am expecting similar move like April to august. Not 4 months consolidation but maybe 2.5 months. One more retest to high and bottom at 3800 -3900. December rate cuts expectations have increased to 80% but aka papa Powell may not support rate cuts as they still dont have October and November job data. Expecting no rate cuts or hawkish comments from Powell which will lead to fall in gold. Later in January making lower wick of yearly candle , taking liquidity 3800 and then to 5k.
Just my view.

5000 USD an Ounce would make Gold worth +- 35T USD. Can it get there? Sure. Is it worth that much? Of course not. Not even 1/4 of that.

DXY performed today a very quick and early all the way retracement of the weekly/monthly support zone 98.95-99.05
The dollar can significantly strengthen from here if this was the big players ending the game early by setting the monthly low for the $ to go back up for new highs following last month uptrend.
Now, the focus turns to 99.20 if bulls can hold it on to protect the said zone. Very strong pull up candle on daily too. While very bad daily candles for GU/EU, so it might be a statement....

There might be another run towards yesterday highs like EU to 1.1630-40s and GU 1.3260s but expected to get kicked down again since downtrend always prevails on weekly/monthly. Both can get rejected even at lower levels...as DXY is building bullish on medium/long term trends.

Gold trading is working so good but for both GU/EU it's a boring consolidation day though it's a great day of lot of money for those who like to trade the sideways market price movement.

Still as I said in my previous posts, GU/EU are on medium/long downtrend movement, so the bears who didn't keep selling and repeating it today...might bite their fingers with regret later. As such consolidation movements are worth like 2 days of full market movement in one direction in your favor...

The first support for gold is the range of 4120 to 4080! But prepare yourself for the range of 4030 to 3980! Get your warm clothes out of the closet!

Depends on your trading style. CFDs are definitely easier for most to trade, as it requests less capital, favors short term trades that most traders trade...
Perpetual futures more for the big players... Definitely better regulated...

There is more than 80% chance of a rate cut thatz why equites are up non stop since 21st Nov low. Any reason u expected a no cut
