Here is my attempt at looking at this.

The 30 min SI just crossed 50 down
The 1 h shows down but above 50

Would it make sense to look for a short if the price retraces to the 30 sma?

AH thank you. I've come over to Forex from metals, I do pretty good there over the last few years but things are bad in my town and I needed to get a little better than long term profits, I'm a believer in FX and am still, I guess, getting used to the 3/4 range as it works out here. I never quit, but I got to hand it to you hero, I will recover quickly because my children purpose me to and I never accept defeat. I won't waste space with blog anymore, just exhaling in print I recon, But thank you for writing that post I can finish anyday now over the next couple of weeks still feeling I will acomplish.

you might. the dow is still right on the low of the day and could drop.
