High TooSlow, thanks for the consistent work! I read this topic a lot, tried myself but my results are hectic.
The rules were clear until I read about the trading time in your pdf. There you recommend looking at the bars starting from daily close, after 5pm NY time. Of course this way you find many HOLO scenarios, but also many false ones. The bigger problem is, it's asian session, low volatility, high spread, and for europeans it's right after midnight.
The other way is more convenient, tested by Trader's Landing (yt/watch?v=i4wk8uJfgss ), when you start watching bars only after 8 am, so we have 8 bars already, and looking for HOLO-s after this. But this way it's not likely in my experience that we find even 10 HOLO scenarios a week. It's eighter already breakout, or there wont be new HOLO that day, or most commonly lets say say there's a new highest H1 open, but that candle becomes a reverse candle, closes red, so we missed this too, after making new daily high the next H1 candle wont open highest so we dont match criteria.
Can you make it clear?
