THE PURPOSE OF THE THREAD:-

I have recently started trading oil and i got quite a bit success in it , Now i would like to be better at trading it i think its better then gold if traded correctly and just something suits my style of trading....

Now I am making this thread So all of the BEST OIL TRADERS can come here and share their knowledge (as I did not find no specific oil thread )...
you can share OIL ,GASOLINE, Natural GAS, anything related to this feild.....Hope is that we can get better as a whole not alone

i am in this long right now just simple trade
kind of orderblock or demand on 4hr and then ther is Impulse correction and now i expect another impulse cuz price has taken nice rejection from the 0.79 area of fib we still have a weekly divergenece between oil and gasoline........

nice i couldn't catch the shorts cuz i was long yesterday had my targets and just thought it will go up again after retest......

Oil D1 Analysis
Oil is still respecting a clear downtrend structure forming consistent Lower Highs and Lower Lows beneath the descending trendline.
Price is currently hovering around the $59-60 region which is acting as a temporary consolidation zone but there is no bullish confirmation yet.
As long as price remains below the highlighted Lower Highs zone near $62-63 bearish pressure is expected to continue. A rejection from this zone may trigger the next downside leg toward the Fibonacci targets at $56.30 followed by $52.40 and potentially the deeper $50.00 level.
Buyers will only gain control if price breaks and holds above the $63 structure level, invalidating the bearish trend.

Oil 1H Analysis
Oil is currently trading inside a rising wedge which typically signals a bearish continuation after the recent strong impulsive drop from 60.97.
Price is approaching the wedge resistance and the 60.10–60.20 (0.618) retracement zone where sellers are likely to step in again. As long as price stays below this resistance and the descending structure line the expectation remains bearish toward the 58.79 liquidity zone followed by deeper targets at 57.96 and 57.44.
Any 1H candle closing above 60.20 would weaken this bearish outlook and delay the downside move.

first of all thanks for posting here means alot.....
i am also thinking about shorts will have to wait for an entry...but i am still holing my longs also the price is at an important area for shorts

the reason i saw for shorting was this divergence between oil and gasoline but now we also might get a divergence between oil and gasoline between the london and Ny high

Thanks bro appreciate your message. Yep we are at an important zone so both sides need patience. Shorts look interesting but we still need a proper entry and if your longs are running just manage them carefully.
Let the market give a clear signal before committing.

Sell trade is active for short term and according to the 1h chart but if you need for long term then wait for good entry

i also shorted yesterday but got stopped out( too tight sl my mistake) then shorted at about 0.382 fib level and closed the trade at about 1:3 rr .......the short was good and could have taken a long but wasn't looking at oil today as i was out so yah , IT WAS A NICE TRADE

Nice one bro clean execution. Tight SL happens but you caught the second entry from a solid level and managed it well. Even if you missed the long a 1:3 RR on the short is already a good day. Good stuff

yah i am not doing trading in a way that i need to trade everyday and and have trades on each pair every day so yah i get 1-2 good trades from any pairs a week its nice ..........long was there but not my setup so had to leave it..........anyways it was a nice week got about 7 trades which i got 5 right ( were early exicutions that stopped me out but after that i made money back ) so it was a good week on oil for me .hope everyone had great too.........

looking at the last week I realised that i was on the completely on the wrong side of the track and hopefully this week we can get this rite.........
also if I get a nice long opportunity i will surely take it as i think there should be some sort of pullback too.....after all just sharing here to get better and see how people better then me are looking at the market

WTI Crude Oil remains bearish and your sell trade is valid after the 57.50 retest. As long as price stays below 58.50–59.00 downside continuation is expected toward 56.50 and 55.80. The structure only changes if the market breaks back above 59.80–60.00.

thanks for the charts MAN i have added another long i think its just trading the pull back until we have a nice short opportunity......

Yes taking the pullback long is fine and once price reaches a better level the short setup will be much cleaner.
