it is not repaint, but sometime it create same signals (buy - buy - buy or sell - sell - sell)..

The indicator only shows the patterns!
And the patterns mean nothing!
They are just patterns - people ascribe meaning to them - and they have no real meaning!

BTW. That's one reson why creating an EA is a pointless waste of time.

Basically, the indicator is completely useless.
Also, I'm not sure it really mirrors the patterns correctly.

PS. We may see these patterns on Stocks more often, but in Forex???

The pattern is supposed to be an Outside Bar whose body Engulfs 3 previous Candle Bodies.
And those 3 Candle Bodies need to be opposite direction to the Engulfing Candle.
How many such patterns can you find on a Forex chart?
Or Indices, or Metals, or anything apart from some Stock charts???

Just by looking at the signals from this indicator, we can see that this indicator interprets the patterns in different ways!
So, it's just some random idea by someone - and it's not meaningful in any way.

PS. I mean, basically the idea is coded correctly, but the code only checks if the 3 candles are in the same body direction, and nothing else, not wicks, not body sizes, not the 3 candles relations to each other, nothing else. And this certainly does not resemble the ideal pattern!
At the least, it should also check if each close of the 3 Candles was in sequence, either higher than previous, or lower than previous. And the wicks should also be Engulfed by the High - Low of the Engulfing candle.

The lines detect the Buy, Sell, or Both order directions!

This code isn't good.
I mean the one you posted.
In order to calculate the most reliable price for many orders and in different directions, we need to take into account Swaps, Commissions, Spread, and calculate a weighted average price.

Of course it's possible, but also pointless.
If you have two repainting indicators, it won't help if you use one, or two.
It's not about what you see in history... it's about what you don't see...

Tell your AI that PositionSelectByIndex is not valid in mq5

I wanted to make an indicator to make a box on 6am GMT daily with alerts at H & L , and someone made me this on Grok
it compiled ok but didn't paint a box
I finally figured out how to use Grok and made 20 iterations but never got a clean compile
I think BestTraderEv said it's like talking to a 10 tr old, repeat, repeat etc -- true
but I think it needs the human touch to finish it

could someone look at it please
