One thing I've realized is that it's easy to get lost in the 1 min chart. I now trade based off the 5 min and the 30 min. I can enter off the one into the move I want from the 5 min. Don't get lost in the 1 minute.....

Balanced profile. Rotations unless we break down or up. 900 on the futures contract is an important level.

Sofi bank sold it's entire stake in nvidia. The revenue will be lower than expected. Keep an eye out.

Scalp long off of vwap with delta and obvious buyer clusters on footprint.

I remember you mentioned Comex open times once, with Comex pausing for an hour at 5pm ET - do repo treasuries do the same?

I believe it's the same for all. I suck at trading treasuries so I am no expert. lol I know of a few full time traders that do it and it takes a lot of knowledge and patience.

In futures at market open there is an algo that fires off market on open orders. It's filling all those pending orders that were resting. That's what causes that crazy move. There is also a market on close at 350pm est.

Sellers broke through that
buy wall. It was ugly and I took some heat but ended up scalping the break.

Yesterday's profile was a lower case b. Today looks like a capital B. That means a trend continuation. I also believe we will have some volatility. Maybe a surprise data release? Gov is now open-not that I missed it.

Hey thanks!

It's going to be very tricky with the data releases. I will have to wait a few minutes to try and get the real move with a scalp or sit on my hands. There will be some bad numbers due to the shutdown. GDP has been curbed so I expect over reactions on some of this. I'm ok either way but what really confuses me is when there is no reaction. lol Like it was already factored in or known by everyone else. One of my prop firms doesn't allow news trading 1 min before and must be flat until a minute after. This kind of works for me sometimes. Keeps me out of some traps.

Think I was expecting a bit more volatility than has been so far, but I suppose with details like this

Indeed, it's even possible that the unemployment and CPI inflation rates for October are never released, because the data were either partially collected or not collected at all.

It's sensible to wait for data

Scalped long at previous bullish order level. Expecting that zone to be defended but it has since failed. Only 5 points taken off the table.
