Mostly dont know about 3 sessions of the market, asia, london and NY. Here is brief inro

Asian Session = Problem
London Session Breakout = Reaction
New York Session Reversal = Solution

The market first moves sideways (consolidation) to collect orders and create liquidity. When the London session starts price breaks out of that range forming the day main move either making a new high or low. Later during the NY session the market often reverses from that level and slows down again into consolidation.
This pattern happens on all timeframes big and small.

why no volume today and yesterday in NY, usually i have seen good volume? any specific reason for the price to be so slow?

Beware, London ends with consolidation. NY will be presenting something full of surprises. Whether buyer or seller, we didn't know yet. But if refer to the current movement, more to trap zones. IMHO

I could agree with that sentence in forex pairs, not in gold.
If you check today sessions are not like that concept, and don't get me wrong, i know that concept...
What you saw today in average is what you will see more times than often, Asia mitigating NY and then kick from there.

waiting for confirmation of MN and W1, which can decide fate of gold for next month or even next 2 months, that why i dont want to entry too much today also
There is a limitation of liquidity, without that it just cant push any further, possible both side is using full force already (only some small fish still buy sell), it will hovering waiting for stimulation (some true buyer and seller, currently seller and buyer is waiting at sideline with pending order, this area is middle of current W1). That why if you say gold gonna reach 5k which i will not belive even it very close (but with some accumulation like this, it will possible)
is this drop by accident? nooo calculated calculated, all have been planned for years

Exactly looks like they are setting traps in both directions. London consolidation usually hides the next move. lets see what surprise NY brings this time.

Yep fair point, gold often plays by its own rules. It doesnt always follow the typical session pattern. Today move actually fits what you said, Asia balanced NY levels and then pushed from there.

No matter what people do, diferent concepts can be aligned....

For me 4043 have weight...
