Based on the October 29, 2025 meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the Federal Reserve has implemented the following policy decisions:
Interest Rate Cut: The Fed lowered the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 basis points, bringing it down to 3.75% to 4.00%. This marks the second consecutive rate cut following a similar reduction in September 2025.
Balance Sheet Runoff: While no formal announcement was made, the Fed appears to be nearing the end of its quantitative tightening (QT) program, which reduces the size of its balance sheet. Liquidity conditions have reportedly been showing signs of stress, and market participants expect an official announcement by year-end.
Data-Dependent Approach: The FOMC emphasized that future rate decisions will remain dependent on incoming data. The statement acknowledged that inflation remains "somewhat elevated" and that job growth has slowed, with the unemployment rate edging up but remaining relatively low.

I think you're very knowledgeable in trading especially with gold, I just cant be bothered skipping through all the drama whilst I'm trying to research. Either way, same advice from my side: FOMC is a different beast than CPI. Just be careful with size, even if you're only testing fill quality.

nothing can do now, nice clearing at middle of range, i still want to see it going back to lower ground to accumulate more 0.0 this news just like a reset game button with me, looking for a good confirm and clear both side liquidity, target H1 both side, i love to see it kill both, upper or lower first doesnt matter... i just entry after the clearing only. As yesterday H4 manipulation been clear, it is clearly want to go for the high, but i need to see a test!

Rate cut expected there's a chance we hit 4,030-4,050 shortly. By monday next week we will see 3,850 due to the meeting between Trump and Xi. I will look for shorts when the dust settles.

Rather than taking trades rn just look at the chart. Powell is going to speak soon so be careful about opening new positions also both sides are completely open rn until we see a clear break on either sides its just risky rn to trade

There's no such thing as "Red News", if you know what it's going to do, it's an algorithm, stop trying to attach bias and emotions to it. An example is shown below, same level, two different directions, all in a matter of handful of seconds. *Just for the laughs*. Understand the market the market way, stop drawing lines out of your imagination and beautifying the charts like an expensive hooker.
