The EUR/USD is currently trading below yesterday's high of 1.1668 but remains above the range low and support level of 1.1625. The pair is expected to trade within this range for most of the day until the Fed announces its interest rate decision later.

In the event that momentum increases and the EUR/USD creates a sustainable move outside of these range levels, the key levels to watch are, downside: 1.1617/00 and 1.1577 and upside: 1.1675/85 and 1.1700/28.

Daily volatility (range) 42 pips

while 1625 continues to provide support there is no bear

To be honest, I do not like the current markets. This is the one and only trade I am willing to take today - Asia sweep right below previous day´s low and below new day opening gap, the gap that resulted from the weekend, from Friday to Monday

Price dipped into an prior order block which already showed proper intension. TP set at Asia High.

Still inside the daily range after the brief drop one pip above the 1.1617 support level. We spend the biggest part of the time waiting until the Fed cuts by 0.25% today.

However, we'll also have to wait for Powell's press conference, as a cut is already 100% priced in, so every word must be carefully analysed. It's best to protect any open trade for the release and stay on the sidelines until the probable choppy move is over.

The EUR/USD dropped to 1.1577 after Powell said he is not sure about a December rate cut after the Fed cut its interest rate by 0.25%. The pair then recovered above 1.1600 and is consolidating. Resistance is located higher at 1.1669 and 1.1675/85, and support is at 1.1577 and 1.1542.

So I am done for today my fellow brothers in arms. Great (almost) low resistance trade - RR-wise my absolute best trade I´ve ever accomplished:

TP 49 pips
SL 3pips
RR: 1:16,33

The first attempt broke even, which, however, gave me the opportunity to enter at this rejection block and thus improve the entry price again. 5m rejection block was right at London Accumulation Open at 02:30 NY time, located right at the 50% weekly consequent encroachment. As the yesterday´s gap was balanced fully I entered with bearish bias.

Scenarios with rejection candles more often than not give me the opportunity to enter withsuper tight SL, like in this case 3 pips.

What a drop! I exited earlier at 1.1600 one of my trade thinking ECB. Surprising we are trading nest the low - 1.1542.
