Hi Traders:

BOJ annouced earlier that they will keep interest rates steady and thats why the crosses spiked from their lowest level. Market seems quiet for now, but should not be when NY opens.

May be going up?But who nows whats the big players will do next?

Saw it on oanda feed.. nothing else - that's the only title so far. Don't know if it will move GJ up (it did move 70 pips as soon as this report popped up) If Feds reduce rates.. then combining that with this BOJ report.. GJ will shoot up. As of now I don't think anything will happen.. maybe a temporary spike up

i've been on the platform fine for over 12hours straight now.. so its fine here in Asia.

I guess I misconstued BOJ to be BOE, So that would make my comments about GJ gaining strength to push it down below 219 an incorrect one.

I don't think this BOJ news will have any impact - look at the statement.. they will 'hold off raising rates' So it's still a possibility that they will raise rates.. just not so soon, like they were supposed to.

If carry trades really need to recover - you need BOJ to drop rates.. and Feds to drop them.. yeah right that's going to happen (both!)
