Explain why I bought?
1- From FA perspective, Inflation is softening and rate cut are 100% sure .75 cut by December. So free money is here which is free boost for stocks.
2- From TA perspective, price already closed above Friday candle high in H4 TF and below. So we have a valid break up.
3- From my system, it's explained in the first post of this thread. So we got a break up and a bullish retest.

technically your winrate could also just be 20% if your R:R is like 5:1 haha

Price my stop and went up!!! Not chasing it...it's Friday.

Price tapped deeply into a large breaker block and showed strong bullish momentum, followed by a doji candlestick. I’m now waiting for a break of structure (BOS) to the upside. Currently, price is tapping into a large fair value gap (FVG), which I formed by combining three smaller FVGs. After the BOS, I’ll potentially look to enter a long position since the bias is clearly bullish — fighting the trend and going short here would be wrong. What do you guys think?

Hi all, these last 2 weeks were not good at all for me, low amount of time in quality to get good trades and time for analysis.
That said, I ´d like to share with you my point of view to the next week. I agree about the free money pointed by Fadhl, but I also think that nothing can go up forever and somehow I feel more confident with a bearish view than bullish in this situation, more than anything cause we ve had a very long run and a natural go back to normal prices should happen today or tomorrow...
Of course Mr Market is a psico an he will do whatever he loves, like burn accounts.
ok now, this is what I want to share:
I think we could see a resistance area @25.500 inside the purple box, maybe something similar like the prev friday sell off
and now going inside of it, if NQ shows signals of this idea, we could see some more effort and get a double top again like in prev friday...
then, the usual desision, if short at broken support or wait for a retest, something that we never had 7 days ago. Good weekend to all.

You might be right. I saw the upper TL as well. This scenario has one leverage: Trump bullying via tweets which might hit the wire anytime.

I have been thinking of going short ever since the London session today as the all time high got swept by London and also two other high forms of liquidity. Before this the Asia session got taken out too so there were an insane amount of buy orders in the market. I was just waiting for a reversal honestly.
Then the news caused price to fill in the orders in the order block to the downside and also took out some forms of liquidity there too which I’m assuming used all those sell orders to fill in the cluster of buy orders resulting in price rallying up.
So I initially wanted price to create a reversal then a choch to the downside and so on using my strategy but it did the opposite. I also remembered just now I’m not sure who said it but never take shorts at an all time high supposedly it’s too risky.
If anything I said did not make sense just to inform you I am a beginner so correct me if I’m wrong. I’m 16 three months into trading and have been focused purely on skill. From now until I’m 18 I’m only focusing on skill. I also do A level Biology Chemistry and Maths some of the hardest A levels you can pick in college. I’ve lost complete interest in school (will treat school as a form building more discipline) as trading has completely shifted my point of view about school and everything else. I have strong beliefs and a vision that I will become an extremely skilled trader and use that to my advantage after 18.

yes! I was going to PD this, a catalizer like a Trump tweet and all of us telling ... shure !! How I didnt see this, it was so obvious....
to close the idea, we might blame mr Trump, again, if this 2nd sell off comes....

Yellow box (25514-25888) is my sign for caution for any longs. Depending on News and overall world politics ofc. I also think that the NQ is greatly overheating and suffering very much of an AI bubble rn. Just look at the M1 RSI and you‘ll see that a healthy chart looks different.
Edit: I could imagine that a possible reason for a sell off could be the talks of Trump and Xi not going well and worsening trade between them. Or the Governement shutdown going longer that Nov 4. as it would then be the longest shutdown ever recordet which would boost uncertainty greatly.

NQ made a new ATH and closed strong bullish on both daily and weekly.
Huge gap also made during the opening.
All FA and TA are telling: direction is up. I already mentioned it few times now that the final target for this year is 26600-26800.
Only precaution to this clear direction is Trump tweets.
Back to earth, during Asian and European sessions, price continued up but the move seems exhausted.
What should we expect from NY? A continuation up.
Can price closes the gap first? I don't think so. But who knows?
Let see NY OR to make decision.

Yesterday, NQ continued up and closed with a strong bullish day.
During Asian and European sessions the movement was exhausted and price consolidated.
Today and tomorrow, we've major earnings after NY session, so that might explain the pause.
Also, we've FED and other CBs meetings.
So I see two scenarios for today and tomorrow, all will be decided by the earnings outcomes. The FED cut is already priced in.
1- Great earnings outcomes: NQ will seek a new ATH and may be reach the year-end final target: 26600-26800.
2- Bad earnings outcomes: NQ will provide a nice retrace.
